How far was the walk from the Adagio to the train station and was it easy to do? I tried looking on the map and it was a bit difficult to tell.

approx 10 mins and yes very easy :thumbsup2 they are very helpful @ reception in the Adagio and will give you info etc

you could get the shuttle but we found it very busy first thing ! and wanted to leave before the "rush" lol and get to the park / village nice and early :)

I haven't been to the Adagio yet (I'm going in April) but I read on a review that it is at the opposite end of the Val D'Europe from the station and that the station is a 10-15 minute walk through the shopping centre. There is a free shuttle bus and the up to date timetable for this is:

Seems not too bad, starts (going out) at 8.45 and finishes (coming back) at 23.35, just kind of infrequent in between!

Thanks I think we will probably stick to the residhome because that is right next to the train station. We have dream passes so want to use EMH and any extra little bit of sleep in the morning is always welcome :goodvibes

Hi all :yay:

I am trying to find a hotel for us (me and hubby) to stay when we go to DLRP in October. I am trying to keep the cost down as much as possible so I am looking at some of the hotels/apartments at Valle de europe. I like the idea of having the mini kitchen so we can make some of our own food. I have been put off by some of the bad reviews for some of them.
Can anyone recommend a good place to stay?

Hi, we recently stayed at the Park and Suites close to Val d'Europe. It was great value for money (150 euros for 3 nights) and I couldnt fault the hotel, very new, clean and spacious, with very friendly helpful staff. The room itself was perfect with a well equipped kitchen, bath and shower room, bedroom and living room.

HOWEVER, unless you have a car, its really not worth the saving. Its 3 km from anywhere so you have to rely on the shuttle bus which only has eight seats and only goes every 40 mins or so, so you cant rely on getting a seat. It cost us 20 euros for a taxi from Disneyland and 15 euros from Val d'europe and so these extra costs can work out very expensive.

But if you are using a car then I would highly recommend this hotel, as its only a few minutes to Disney or the shops at Val d'europe.

Edited to add: Residence Home business and Park and Suites are actually the same hotel, they have recently changed the name.
