off-site hopping & luggage?

We are switching among off-site resorts on a few occasions during our approx. 15 days in Orlando. Check-out times around 11 and check-in times around 3 or 4 so what do we do with all our stuff for those hours in between? Can we have our luggage in the van and still do a day at Disney on those transfer days. Are the huge parking lots patrolled?

Advice needed please.

I wouldn't trust my valuables at all locked in a car for the day....even with security around. We've always been able to leave our luggage and belongings at the hotel or resort in the morning and they would lock everything up and hold them for us, and then when it was check-in time we just went and picked up our stuff from a secured area in the hotel. This has always been done without charge too. Hope this helps!:)

I agree completely with sammi. Don't leave your valuables in your car. That's just asking for trouble.
Every hotel we have ever stayed in had an area for storing luggage prior to check-in. There is never a fee, though a tip is certainly appropriate when you retrieve your belongings.

Just curious - why are you changing hotels several times?

Steve

Thanks for your responses. Glad to hear that the hotels have a secure area and can be helpful about this.

disneysteve: Money, money, money is the reason! We were originally going to be camping at Ft. Wilderness Jan 1 to 10. Well after 15 months of planning the trip is very different with some added days and a free week in a condo thrown in just a few weeks ago thanks to a relative's Christmas present (their timeshare bonus week). We already had booked at a fun kiddie resort for the kids for some of the time. Recently plans changed again to FORGET the camping (lugging all the gear, etc.). Now things are getting late & good deals are harder to find for the high volume time we'll be there (over New Year's Week). So many changes back & forth in our planning. But I'm happy with the deals I'm finding (even for our family of 6) and just need to make some decisions to keep this hopping to a minimum!

LOL..... And don't forgot our little tiny weeny puny size loonie too!:p

Hope you and your family have the best holiday!!!!:)

LOL - We vacationed in Canada last year and one of our favorite things was shopping at a Loonie Toonie store (a Canadian Dollar store for those of you unfamiliar with it). We realized for us, everything was really only about $0.64.
