Off site breakfast ideas?

We are going to be celebrating my DS 11th birthday a day early at Disneyland, and starting back home the next day, his actual birthday. I got to thinking that there should be some fun restaurants in the area - at other, more upscale hotels for instance - where we could take him for a fun birthday breakfast. We won't be going back to the park that day so we need some place that doesn't require an admission.....

Any ideas?

Since you haven't gotten any other suggestions yet, I'll recommend Mimi's. It is nothing fancy, it is just a chain (but nicer than a Denny's). But they have big yummy breakfasts and it is close to the park so possibly close to where you are staying (but it could be crowded with other people trying to eat and get into the parks). I have never had a bad breakfast there and it is cute.

You could do a character breakfast at the Grand Californian (Storyteller's Cafe) or at Goofy's Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel- no park admission needed! But they are expensive and if your 11 year old is not that into characters then you are paying the high price for no reason

Carrow's is good...I think it's N or DLR on Harbor. And also Po' Folks...IDK if they have breakfast though...it's right near Knott's.

If you want to do a character breakfast at either Goofy's at the DLH, Lilo & Stitch at the PPH, Chip and Dale's at Storytellers at the GCH, none of them require park admission, and it might be a nice way to end his Disney experience. Rainforest Cafe in DTD is another option.

If you truly want off-site, I'd recommend MiMi's as well. They have excellent breakfasts.

If you don't have Ruby's Diners by you, that might be a fun option. Their food is really good and there are several Ruby's in Orange County, though none in Anaheim.
