Of the three Universal Hotels ... RPR / HRH / PBH ... which gets your vote and why?

crazyme5kids ... that sounds like a good idea. Congrats on getting the PBH ... just read PartyofSix's trip report and by all accounts it sounds like a great resort. What did you get your husband at the spa ... I may actually go with the DW but ... I am not to sure what I would go for ...

PartyofSix ... just reading about your facial sounds very relaxing

I know it may sound like a silly question ... if a guy  goes for a massage ... is the masseuse usually of the opposite gender ... or do you request a female or male masseuse (the dictionary gives the definition of a masseuse as a woman who gives a massage) ...

You can request what you prefer. There was a couple getting one at the same time while I was there. There is a men's lounge and a womens lounge and you part ways. You go to the lounge and they have lockers with robes and changing rooms you use and then lockup your things and go to the lounge area where they have water for you and fresh fruit while you wait your turn. They came quickly and the rooms are wonderful. They tell you to slip under the sheet thing and she come right back it's really dark in the rooms. They have candlelit lighting and you hear a sound machine of the ocean surf and she did'nt talk much which i really liked if i was'nt trying so hard to pay attention to what she was doing i would have been out! As soon as she was done she gently said Mrs. Woodard i'm done would you like me to get you some water while you robe up? I was so relaxed it took me a second to come to earth to answer her.LOL BTW/ she and her husband were getting the japanese silk treatment i had she was excited. She had been to Don Ceasar before and had exp. spa treatments where i had not.

It sounds sssoooooo relaxing there ... PartyofSix ...

I'm still exploring the Greenhouse Spa website ... so many treatments ... so little time and $$ ... but I'm sending them an email to get some more info ... it would be a great way to wind down after a day at the parks

Boy, would I love to get a deal like the $99 one ... where did that come up?

Last time we went to Orlando, we stayed two weeks at the former Dixie Landings resort, Alligator Bayou section and really loved it. This time, since we're staying only a few days, so decided to try the Universal resorts. Back in 2000, the Portofino was the only one there ... we tried to check it out but we got stuck in the self-parking area (I think) and couldn't find a way out  ... so we had to lift up the gate arm and as we were leaving, three security guys came out to meet us ... no problem, they chuckled when we told them we had been driving around ... they already knew as they had been watching us on the security cams  ... they pointed us in the right direction but we decided once was enough ... Hopefully this time, we'll do better
