Hi everyone!
While listening through the podcasts from 2015 and up to today I finally came to the episode where Pete introduced the awesome Michael Bowling and The Walt Connection segment of the DIS Unplugged.
And since Pete recommended that I go back to the DIS Unplugged Disneyland Edition and fetch Michaels episodes regarding the history of Disneyland up to the 60 yrs Anniversary; Disneyland at 60- Editions. I happily downloaded those in my podcast app and OMG!
The shows are absolutely amazing, fun and so educating. While mixed with awesome history facts and details that give more depth than I could have imagined.
I consider myself a Disney Nut and a Disney Veteran, and I have been digging into some good Disney History over the years through coffee table books (bought at Disney) and some websites too. And while visiting DLP and WDW several times I have also taken the Keys To The Kingdom Tour at MK and the counterpart at DLP. Both times started off at Main Street and while casually talking to the CM in the beginning of the walk it's been revealed that I know my Disney well enough to get a very personalized and in depth guided tour, much more advanced than your first time visitor.
But now... this show, wow!
And this experience has once again reminded me that the history and the creation of The Happiest Place(s) On Earth holds so much more than meets the eye, and is known by "main stream" facts!
And I am once again humbled and so grateful that there are such amazing people out there, like Michael Bowling, that are willing to share their deep and personal knowledge!
THANK YOU DIS Unplugged for broadening my Disney Horizons even further!
