I wanted to double check with you experts before I proceed with a transfer from another member. He has June 2011 Kidani points (which I need), if they are transferred to my account, then I will be able to bank them to use for a February 2012 reservation...is that correct?

If so, this will be perfect! I can then reserve a grand villa and a 2 bedroom at the 11 month window, then 2 studios at 6 months using BCV points.
I normally wouldn't be too worried about February, but our dates cover Presidents Weekend

If the points become available June 2011, then there is not need to bank the points (the use year will be June 1, 2011 to May 31, 2012). But, yes, you can bank transferred points.

I thought transferred points maintain their original owners use year and could NOT be banked. Am I incorrect?

Yes. You can bank the points once they are transferred to you. Owners can not transfer points that were already banked.
