Odds of getting upgrade from Coronado standard room to Destino Tower in early March?

All club level is closed with all the Covid restrictions.
You had booked a room the tower correct?

Nope, I booked a standard room. There was no indication it would be a tower room. My email confirmation just says standard view. Honestly, I just picked the cheapest option!

If it just says standard (it was not tower) than it was a great upgrade because the tower is a bookable category (there is standard view tower).

Cast members do not decide to give upgrades. Remember, when you call / go online to book reservations you are in the reservation system. At the front desk the cast member is looking at your reservation information that is in the system. If for some reason your accomodations are not available it will show and an offer will be made. The average cast member at the front desk does not really have access to the reservation system allowing them to make changes at will. So asking a cast member for an upgrade will most usually be met with a very polite explanation as to why they cannot provide you with upgraded accomodations. I have not asked myself but recieved an upgrade to a cars suite during Cheer week. WOW 3 minutes to food court and even less to the pool bar

Wilderness Lodge
Riviera Resort
every other Moderate and less than Moderate (Except POFQ)
SSR
OKW

SSR feels like any golf course condo community. Adding some horse touches to the rooms isn't going to change that IMHO.
