Odds of a night at GC coming through wait list in June?

Hi everyone . I am planning a short DL trip with some of my DIS friends for next June (arriving on the 14th for 3 nights). I was hoping to use our points and book a studio at The Grand Californian for the 4 of us. I have been checking availability and all was good until last week when I saw that the night of the 15th wasn't available . Does anyone have any thoughts on the odds of that night opening up for us? Seriously, who knows. There are approximately 23 studios (assuming that is what you want). So, what are the odds that 1 or 2 out of 23 people will cancel? I think if you are only waitlisting 1 night night, there is an ok chance it will come through, but hard to say...

I don't think very good and am in the same boat as you. I'm trying to decide between 2 plan Bs - spend the points for a one bedroom or pay cash for the Disneyland Hotel.

I am 2 for 2 on waitlists coming through for one night in a studio in mid July after being able to book a few nights initially. Frustrating thing is my family has no clue how hard it is to get in there and they don't grovel at my feet when I get us in!

I understand your dilema. We have a trip planned for September and staying at GC is something we always wanted to do. I was going to roll the dice and wait til the 7 month mark and pray that we could get a studio but a few days ago I decided to try and rent some points and fortunately they had points available and we got our studio. Now I have our points up to be rented.

Thanks all for your thoughts . I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best! I'm thinking positive thoughts because just today I got a call from DVC to tell me that my wait list for a standard BWV studio for March came through ! I actually had BCV booked, but after a less than magical time there in September (pretty awful room condition ), I really wanted to switch resorts.

I tried to book a 1
Bedroom at the GC right
at 7 month window for the end of May and early June. I was a few minutes too slow on the computer after opening time, and I missed a night during Memorial Day weekend. I wait listed that night and got it 2 days later. Hopefully you will be lucky as well!
