Odd ticket question for over 14 days?

OK my DMIL is going to Florida for 3 weeks.

Was thinking a 10 day pass, but kinda wanted to have some days left for week 3 (over 14 days).

Can she buy for example, a 5 day pass-then save the 5th day until day 13-then upgrade to a 10 day pass and gain more time? TIA.

Staying offsite fyi.

Nope.

She should look into an annual pass. Or consider adding the Water Parks & More option.

No. The entire ticket expires 14 days from the first use. She may want to consider an annual pass (which will also give free parking).

Just to confirm what others have said, tickets must be completely used within 14 days of their first use, so waiting to add days, and / or adding water park fun and more isn't going to help you.

No, they expire 14 days from first use, regardless of when you upgrade. She should consider an annual pass.

So it looks like an AP is about $800, and 2 10 day passes around $780 correct? But you gain hopping which she will never use.

You also get discounts on food and merchandise generally 10%. Also free photopass is included. She can also buy tables in Wonderland as well if that works out. So if she uses the discount on food a few times, I suspect that the cost difference will be more than made up for.

The AP also comes with 10% purchase and dining discounts, free parking ($20/day), and Memory Maker photos for free, as well.

Nice thanks. She just falls into an odd category it seems. Visiting folks with AP so discounts do not matter. They were planning like every other day (being older and all) to visit parks over the 3 weeks.

I think a 10 day and just visit the middle 2 weeks will be fine.

Kinda just wish the longer day passes had a bit more time to use them. Like I assume a 3 day has 14 days as well.

Thanks everyone.

IF you have a Platinum Pass (the regular non-florida resident one) you also get memory maker included.
