Okay here are my questions - and thanks everyone for your help!

1. We are doing a points pick up on Royal and will be disembarking on the 12th, the same day as we board the Dream - can you walk between piers? I know Royal is at pier 10. Which pier does the Dream load at?

2. After disembarking the Dream, we are heading up to Disney for a few days - and will be taking their transfer. What time do we depart at? I know we stop of three hotels (We are at Disney All Star Music) - I assume they can hold our baggage until our room is ready?

3. We will then be taking the Disney transfer back to the Orlando airport - do they leave at one set time? Do you have to pre book it?

The last time I was on a Disney ship, was in 2007 - and it was the Wonder. Any tips? Our cabin is 5150 - form the photos I have found online, it looks like I scored with the extended veranda - but lost out on the round tub, and extra storage.

Thanks so much!

1. It's not really very walkable at Port Canaveral. You might have to look into a taxi.

2. The buses to WDW resorts are available as soon as the ship is cleared for debarkation. Each bus may stop at up to 3 resorts, once it's filled it departs. It's possible to be at your resort by 10:00.

3. Transfers to MCO from WDW resorts is via Magical Express. You need to let your resort know you will be needing the transfer and they set up the time.

Thanks! I just booked my transfer to the resort from the port, and she advised me, it was Terminal A. I was also told our travel documents are MAILED out 10 to 14 days in advance of our sail date (seems to be cutting it close IMPO). But because we are departing on holiday sooner - is their anyway to request advance documents? I know its silly, but I really want my fancy luggage tags! LOL

Typically people receive their cruise documents about 45 days out. I don't know why you were told 10-14 days. Unless you've booked last minute?

A thought: since you cruised last time you now need to pick a PAT ( port arrival time) because you have cruised before you will be able to do this 90 days prior to your cruise. The earliest PAT is 10:30. You can be dropped off about 10.
What is the latest you can get off your Royal cruise? You may have some time to kill between the time you have to be off Royal and before you can get in the Disney terminal.

The latest we can get off is around 10 - they really push you out the door! I will aim for a 10:30 PAT, and by the time we disembark, getting our baggage (we have to clear customs I assume? We are CDN) and grab a taxi, it will be close enough to 10.

What time/ what do I have to do to get a PAT?

You can choose a port arrival time when you do your online check in, which can be accomplished when you are paid in full and reach the appropriate time before your sail date based on your Castaway Club level, which I assume is Silver. So you should be able to being 90 days out if I did it right.

Since you have cruised before you can do your online check in and book your excursions, adult dining and pick your PAT 90 days prior to your cruise. You can go online at 12:01am EST.
you must be paid in full.
