Our DS9 was recently diagonsed with ODD (oppositional Defiance Disorder) as well as having kelpto tendancies. I was wondering if anyone has any experience? We met with his new therapist on Friday, just started reading a book recommended by therapist and they have enrolled us in parenting classes in May (just started a class in Feb. so May is soonest). I would love to hear from other parents who has experience with this. We were glad to finally get a diagnosis as he has been having problems since he was 5 but kind of scared as well.
The next hurdle is working with the school to make sure they follow through on the treatment established by the therapist and us. Good thing DH is a stay at home dad because he has no problem going to the school to make sure things are getting done.
