Odd 40% pin code question

I am thinking of going in Decmber and I got a 40% off code in the mail. IF I go, I'm not sure if I want to stay 4 or 5 nights, so my question is:

If I book 5 nights (room only) with the 40% pin, and then decided a few months before the trip I only want 4 nights, will I be able to just remove the last day of the trip? Or will I have to cancel and rebook therefore losing my 40%?

Nope - for Room only, it's less than that, I don't know the exact timeline, but I think it is up to 5 days in advance you can make changes. Dropping days is easy...adding days is hard, and you certainly can't add days at the discounted rate. So OP is right - book 5 days and drop those you don't want.

You can also just check out a day early. No penalty for that if you have a room only (as opposed to a package) reservation.
