October Weather

My wife and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary with a “no kids” trip in October. Each WDW trip I’ve taken before has been in the spring. Who has been in October before, and what’s the weather usually like? Thanks for any help!

Hi Jon,

It's hot...hotter than the spring...especially at the beginning of October. Average highs are near 90 and morning lows are in the upper 60s.

We went last October - 21st to beginning of November. The weather the whole time was BEAUTIFUL - blue skies, no rain and daytime temperatures around mid eighties.

In comparison, in the evenings it did get a bit chilly occasionally especially in the pool - small quieter pools we found to be warmer than the main pool. I have never been in Spring though and I don't know how the temeperatures compare.

We usually go in the summer and were going again this July - but have had to book a short trip in October as well - it was so great (and you have the Food and Wine and the Halloween party (not just for kids either!) You'll love it.

I agree with the previous poster! Last October was absolutely FANTASTIC!! Everyone in our group kept commenting on how great it felt outside!

The Oct weather is usually very warm (80's until close to November). However, it is hurricane season. We got caught this year and lost two days. Later in the month is better, I think.

We're there at the end of the first week through the middle of the month. We knew it was still technically hurrican season when we booked, but did some research and saw that not too many have happened in October.
