October weather

How hot and humid is it the 1st week of October. This is when we are thinking about going this year. We have been in the Middle of October and End of October but never this early. Is there really that much difference?

Also do you think crowds will be any better the 1st week than later in the month?

There's no real easy way to explain this. In Central Florida, the end of October is generally the beginning of "Fall", at least in terms of our two season -warm, and exceptionally hot. The problem is that the temps fluctuate wildly in Fall and Spring with weather fronts. That said, the first week of October is what most people elsewhere would call the dead of Summer. While most people from more temperate climates may feel the end of October is still like Summer (because it's usually still in the 80's), there's a noticeable cooling off for those of us who live here. As far as crowds, avoid Halloween and Columbus Day crowds, and avoid Epcot (Food & Wine) at night and on the weekends and it's pretty decent.

There won't be much difference between the beginning of October and the end of October. It'll likely still be very warm with a little less humidity vs August
