october weather and crowds

How far in advance do I need to book for october 2007? Is the campground busy during this time? I noticed it is value season. What is the weather during this time? Do we need to worry about an AC unit?

Our experience has been that October is an awesome time to camp at FW. Crowds are smaller than summer, or Holiday times. The temp. is usually pretty mild. Rainy season is over then too. That said, it can be hot and humid, or rain any time here in FL. But I really don't think the tent a/c would be needed.
