October resort discounts?

What, if any, discounts are normally given for late October for the general public? Am I waiting for nothing? I'm looking at any of the mod or deluxe, or Swan/Dolphin.

According to Mousesavers, there was a room-only discount available to anyone for stays between 10/23-11/23 last year that became available 9/25. I think we just have to wait and see what this year brings.

We arrive on October 16 the first 4 nights is rented points then our last two nights are at POP. Hopefully there will be a discount code before long..

I wouldn't hold out for a discount at Pop this year. With the A/S Movies main pool being closed until December, folks are now flocking to Pop Century. Over the past couple of days there are many threads where folks are now changing their Oct reservation and moving to Pop. Pop was extremely busy last October as we stayed there 2 weeks on a CM discount and that was with no discount for AP holders or others. The resort was pretty much at peak levels (weekends). I also need a room at a value for one night (10/14) before moving to the WLV, but pretty much decided that Pop probably won't be available for our one night stay. Not a big deal for us, but a discount would be nice. I'm sure there will be availability at Movies, but with one quiet pool to share for the entire resort, that can't be good. You need to keep you options open that Pop might not be there for a discount. Good luck and hopefully by late August we should know something.
