October Rehabs

I will be going to DL for the first time this Ocober. I usually go to WDW every year. We went to WDW in Jan 2002, and Splash Mountain was down for rehab. I wonder if since there are so many things down now, will that make for less rides being down for scheduled refurbishment for the rest f the year?
Is October usually a busy time for rehabs since it is off season?
