Today's questions do not involve photos, but are restaurant related.
There are at least three sit-down restaurants on property that I did not use for the previous 30 days of photos. The reason being that most of the lights in these restaurants are unique, and do not repeat within a particular restaurant. I believe that the lights reflect the diversity or variety of the restaurant's menu.
UPDATE: There seems to be some (a lot) confusion about what I'm looking for. There are at least 3 restaurants on property that I know of, in which most of the light fixtures are different, that is, there is very little repetition or duplication within the restaurant. I wish I could show you an example, but I can't! If you'd like to resubmit your answers to the first question or take longer to answer, that's fine. Sorry for the confusion!
1) Your job is to name as many of the restaurants as you can, for 2 points apiece. Hint: One of them is in a resort, and the others are in two of the four theme parks.
According to Disney legend, Merriwether Adam Pleasure owned the land and buildings that Disney would eventually develop into Pleasure Island. This included the 'paddleboat' that currently houses Fulton's Crab House.
2) What was the previous name of this riverboat when Disney opened it in 1977, and who christened the 'boat'? Also, what was the fictional name of the boat when Mr. Pleasure owned it?
3) What was the name of the restaurant on Pleasure Island that was replaced by the Wildhorse Saloon in 1998 and, according to legend, where did the name come from?
4) According to Disney legend, the building that now houses Portobello Yacht Club restaurant, served what purpose for Merriwether Pleasure's family? Also, where does the current name of the restaurant come from?
That will hopefully break up the logjam! Please try to answer before midnight EST on Oct. 31st. Thanks again for playing!

pm sent.

pm on the way - thanks for a truly enLIGHTENING quiz I really enjoyed it.

The three restaurants I knew of were:
Yak & Yeti @ Disney's Animal Kingdom
Spoodles @ Boardwalk Resort
Mama Melrose's @ Disney's Hollywood Studios

2) What was the previous name of this riverboat when Disney opened it in 1977, and who christened the 'boat'? Also, what was the fictional name of the boat when Mr. Pleasure owned it?
Previous name of the riverboat that now houses Fulton's Crab House was the Empress Lilly, named after Walt Disney's wife, Lillian who christened the 'boat' in 1977. According to the legend, the boat was called the Floating Arts Palace when purchased by Merriweather Pleasure in 1911. But, when he dropped anchor in Lake Buena Vista, the boat was named Pleasure Princess.

3) What was the name of the restaurant on Pleasure Island that was replaced by the Wildhorse Saloon in 1998 and, according to legend, where did the name come from?
The restaurant (very good barbeque, by the way!) was named The Fireworks Factory, and was so named because Merriweather Pleasure supposedly manufactured fireworks in this building, until it was damaged by an explosion.

4) According to Disney legend, the building that now houses Portobello Yacht Club restaurant, served what purpose for Merriweather Pleasure's family? Also, where does the current name of the restaurant come from?
The building served as the Pleasure family home from 1918. I don't think the current name of the restaurant has anything to do with the Pleasure legend, but comes from the name of the famous road and song in the movie, Bedknobs & Broomsticks.
Great job, everyone! :yay:
