Colder weather is just around the corner. No need to look like you're all bundled up when you're not. Get out and MOVE! Anything to burn calories....rake leaves, walk a pumpkin patch, walk the dog, catch a class a the gym....just MOVE!!

As usual commit to as few or as many minutes of exercise as you wish to challenge yourself to do. Please post here something like "I'm at 21/400" or just 310/1000. That way I don't have to search to add up all your numbers.

10% - Getting Started!
25% - On your way!
50% - Half-way there!
75% - You CAN do it!
90% - Just a little bit more!
100% - You DID it!
Over the top!

I can only do upper body strength training as I fractured my foot last week. My next appointment isn't until November, so I'm going for a small goal this month-unfortunately.

I'm in for 300 minutes this month.

Thanks Julie!

I'll be at WDW for a week, so I will cut back a bit to 1400 minutes. Thanks!

I'm in for 1000 again this month!!

Love the title this month, Julie. Thank you.

I need to get back on track this month with exercising and eating! :yay:

Thanks Julie! :)

I was lazy on the weekend and didn't feel like exercising! If I'm going to continue to take the weekends off, I'll need to increase my weekday workouts to reach my goal.

I'm in for 900 min this month. So far I am at 90/900.

I've cut my goal way back since my hip replacement surgery will be Oct 25. I'm pretty limited as to what I can do up until that time & will be pretty much out of action for a while after the surgery. They do plan on having me back on my feet the day after the surgery but what I will be able to do then will hardly count as exercise. Hopefully once I get through rehab I will be able to get back to all the things I want to be doing!

I'm in for 1000 -- don't want to find myself looking like the Great Pumpkin! :goodvibes

Unlike last weekend, I exercised both days this weekend! :woohoo: However, I will have to average 73 minutes every day for the next 12 days (or 80 minutes per day for 11 days to take a day off) in order to make my goal before I go to WDW.

I am at 390/900!

perfectmatch300, good luck in the hip replacement!

Thanks, Lisa. I am trying to keep as busy as possible between now and my surgery. Keeping busy helps me from thinking too much! I just have to be careful with what I choose to do. The right exercises should help to make my recovery easier and that's what I am hoping for.

Oct. 11 - 110 strength training

I did 2 exercise DVDs that I hadn't done in a long time, and just kept going. The extra long workout today just bought me a day off this weekend - woohoo!

Wow - there are only 8 of us in the challenge this month? What happened? Do we smell from all that exercising? LOL

Going to WDW is always a great goal! I was surprised at how strong I felt the whole time I was at DL this week-end thanks to all my working out.

I am at 390/900!
