October Discounts

The current 25% off room discount only goes through September. What are the odds they will release fall discounts sometime soon? I’m itching to book for October but not a fan of full price.

I would be surprised at October discounts since it’s the busiest time of year now, but if bookings are low anything is possible.

That’s what I was thinking. So, is October officially the busiest time of year now? We visited briefly last October and were amazed by the giant crowds.

I mean, I don’t know if it’s “official” or what would even make it official. Numbers from Disney I guess? But in my experience October of the last few years has consistently been the busiest I experience in the parks throughout the year.

The line for Haunted Mansion blew our minds. It was our first DLR trip in October and we were not mentally prepared for those crowds.

Yeah; October is really high season now for DL-Anaheim. With Oggie Boogie Bash in DCA, it enhances crowds even more.

Choke points like Pirates and Orleans and right now at HM through Splash are next level.

If you look at the history of Disney Discounts on Mousesavers it might give you an idea of late October discounts.

I doubt there will be a discount, 19 dates are sold out as of 830PM PST.

Following. Quite miffed the sale for the 3 day disney tickets end in Sept. I'm booked for 2 weeks in Oct/Nov as I love halloween (doing Oogie Boogie, Knotts and Universal) - Just need some discounts my way

This summer special isn't typical; but it is a repeat from last summer's first ever.

I agree! With Halloween time starting in August this year, the three-day deal allows people to come experience Halloween at a discount.

I would not count on many or any good October discounts it is the 2nd busiest almost tied to busiest month at Disney (December still is, but from what I have heard October is narrowly behind December.) Due to how busy October is Gay Days had to be moved to September per Disney's request (I believe last year or the year before is when Gay Days was in September) October is so crowded with Halloween decorations, but also tourists wanting to go to other Halloween events (Knotts Scary Farm, Universal Horror Nights etc.) It's a busy busy month!
