October Dis Meet at Mall Of America/ Minnesota

stopped by disneystore today.. she confirmed grand opening on 29th...but store will be open starting on the 12th of october... details arent out yet, but on disneyshopping.com there is a list of store events for those openings it has a start time of 10 am and says they are giving out gifts to first 250 ppl and character appearances.

we should start a new thread then... and maybe meet up for lunch or something afterwards? any ideas????

That does sound like fun! The 12th is a Wednesday and I know we can't make it. Maybe that weekend? Can you confirm that the new store will be open then?

I think the plan is for sat the 29th for the grand opening.... Someone correct me if I'm wrong.. Should be a fun event... Any ideas for a dis meet afterwards?

The 29th sounds like a great time! A few of us had discussed a Disboard meet, but hadn't set a firm date. We had also discussed going to Donatelli's in White Bear Lake, but maybe it would be easier to stay around the MOA.

I'm game for the 29th! Is there any restaurant in the mall that people enjoy? We usually don't dine in there, we go to the food courts. Though I know there is a Buffalo Wild Wings there now because my husband practically passed out when he saw the "Coming Soon" sign at the beginning of the year!
