october crowds

I know its early to be thinking about next october but was wondering if anyone that went during october would know what the crowds were like the week before halloween. looking to go down next october and trying to figure out which week to shoot for any help will be appreciated

We went from 10-21 to 10-28, I didn't think it was horribly bad...but it was our 1st trip and I don't have anything to compare it to...the longest we waited for any ride was 1 hour, which was Expedition Everest (a newer ride).

I would definitely go again during the same time, and you can go to a MNSSHP, which my kids went on many rides that night with no waiting at all!

I was there the same week, 21st to 29th and didn't find the crowds overwhelming, it was managable, using fastpass and early mornings. I have been in January (very quiet) and early August (quite busy) and this was somewhere in between the two. There will be waits sometimes of 30 to 45 mins for headliners, but if you fastpass the rides that are most important to you, and ride the quieter rides while you wait, you should have no problem seeing everything.
BTW, DO NOT go to Food and Wine Festival on the weekend, you will not be able to move, see it in the week and it will be very quiet. Same goes for MNSSHP, you will have very short ride waits at the party if you go in the week.
It is a great time to go weather wise (although it got very cold at night) and not bad crowd wise. Go and have fun,

thanks for the replys and I am hoping to go from the 21st-26th so was curious what the crowds were like the week before halloween, but it looks like they are not insane levels so thats a good thing.Now just have to book the room and the airlines and away I go
