October 7, 2012 - California Dreamin' Coastal Cruise

I'd be very disappointed if they didn't. Is there any reason why they couldn't do fireworks??

They can't do them in Alaska (might be environmental). They haven't done this type of cruise yet (I guess the closest will be this summer's repositioning to Alaska). fingers crossed :thumbsup2

I am reading from the Hawaii threads and many people said they'll just stay on the ship at Ensenada. Is it really that bad?

If you have never been.. you might want to see it but it is a very very very poor area. Lots of pushy vendors and children that break my heart. We will just stay on the ship.

The do have La Bufadora (sp?) which is an excursion you can take. It is interesting to see and they do have a starw market right there. May be your best bet.

Useless trivia time... did you know that the Golden Gate Bridge is 1.7 miles long and I have walked it! It was really windy and really high but I did it.

We walked with a group of Girl Scouts in what is called a bridging ceremony.

Not bad for someone afraid of heights!

Hi there. Can I join the party, please?!! I just booked cabin 7130 on this cruise! Quite excited!! I too will be staying on board at Ensenada - it really doesn't appeal to me at all!!

Pleasure to meet you all (in cyberspace) and look forward to meeting on board!!! :thumbsup2

:yay::yay:My family is booked and I think of it everyday!!! 18 months away seems FOREVER!!!! I have a girl who will be 16 and one that will be 7 and a boy who will be 10. Can anyone tell me how the teen club is for my 16 year old? I'm hoping there is lots of teens on the boat that week. We are in AZ and have fall break that week. We were on the Magic a few years ago and from what I remember the Oceaners Club and Lab were divided up agrs 3-7 and 8-12. Is that right? Will my 7 year old be allowed with my 10 year old in the same club? :cool1:

The club and lab now divide more by theme/program than age... so the 10 year old and 7 year old can absolutely hang out together. :thumbsup2

The teen club now lets the teens decide what they want to do for the week (so they create their own Navigators).

Hello everyone!!
We just booked this cruise!!

It will be DH and myself! Looking forward to meeting everyone!!

What is Secret Mickey??

It's like a secret santa where you leave little gifts for someone. Then you have a slightly larger gift for the reveal. The total cost is about $25-30

Hi you! I am trying to remember - were you supposed to be on the 2 night cruise? Or am I confused with another cruise?

Hi Des! We were actually booked on the PC cruise but had to cancel. We are still kicking ourselves for cancelling that.
