October 7, 2012 - California Dreamin' Coastal Cruise

Thought you might think this is kinda fun. I did not develop these characters only took them and used them in the slogan for the cruise

Twopeasonepod, I've taken a number of images from talented artists and put them together, applied a few photoshop tricks and here is your family names with Pixar characters

I was looking for something else on Vista Prints and noticed they now have kid size tee shirts. They don't have them in different colors but they are one of the few printers who will print Disney art at reasonable prices.

Val, another quick question (or two) about your WONDERful city....I am thinking of booking the Premium 5 hour City Tour through this company

http://www.sanfranshuttletours.com/san_francisco_tours.htm

It says that you have to meet at the Ferry Building which appears by their map to be near Pier 1. We apparently will be docking at Pier 35. Is this a "walkable" distance or will I have to take a cab/taxi there?

Any comments or advice of any other tour companies that offer city tours would be appreciated. I was not impressed with DCL's offerings.

Thanks in advance....

It is flat and an easy walk but I wouldn't walk it unless you had the time. You can jump on the F muni line, going west, which stops right at the Ferry Building, can't get lost.

I've never taken any of the bus tours so I can't comment.

Thanks Val!!!!

Off to research "the MUNI"...

Thanks Val! They do have great prices.

I have finally made up my mind and would like to add our names to the FE list! Here is our info:

Disname: anthonysmama
Traveling: Ned, Brandy, Anthony (11), Valerie (2.5)
Cabin: 5005
Dining: Early
FE: Yes
Secret Mickey: No thank you

Thank you and sorry I joined so late! I wasn't sure I'd be able to get the time together to make the gifts I wanted but I'm just gonna go for it!! ;)

Brandy

Thanks! Not sure why he has such random pictures of them on there -- we have so many better ones haha.

We don't decorate our door at GCH. I've never seen one decorated, actually. We did, one time, put a decoration with streamers on our cousin's door and decorated her room because she was turning two. And one time, I paid I think $85+ dollars each for the Mickey pumpkin with treats. Yikes.

We've stayed at GCH and put lights up in the window, but I don't think I'd put anything on the door.

Anyone interested in doing a photo walk while on board??? Let me know....:thumbsup2

Hi Denise! Yes I would be very interested!! Always looking for photos!!!

Those of you who are locals, how are you getting to the port? I'm not sure if my MIL will take us since she doesn't like to drive to places she has never been before. She lives in OC so it's not like the port is right down the street. Supershuttle.com was $116 per person one way....uh no thanks. Parking our car there would cost about $90 for the week. I can ask a friend to take us I guess...

cool.....there is a world wide photowalk that day (I did it last year on land) and I am trying to see if they will let us sign up as a location. I think we would be the only one on a ship! It is on the Mexico day which is good because I have no plans to get off the ship.

I will let you know what they say and if they don't approve it we will just do our own thing.....

If you are inclined to splurge, we use American Limo and they are awesome. $99 each way (from LAX to DLR, LAX to the port, port to DLR, etc.)

americanlimoinc.net (am I allowed to put that here?)
