October 30, 2011 Wonder - A Haunting on the High Seas

Hi, my name is Jen and I booked and paid for cruise about a week ago. :)
It will be me, my DH, and our son Adam-16, daughter Haleigh-14, and son Joey-10. My mother-in-law is coming too. This will be our 4th disney Cruise and my mom-in-law's 1st. This will be our 1st time on the Wonder, our other cruises were on the Magic, sailing out of Port Canaveral. Looking forward to trying somthing a little different. :)

I just checked my reservation and found out they switched me to early dining (I had been waitlisted previously). My question is what times are the shows? Will I miss any because I am still in dinner? The late is awfully late for my 3 year old, but we could work around it if the early means we will be missing shows...

Welcome Jen and family

On page 7, posting 47, I have links to navagators from one of the first MR cruises. When Corinna gets back from her October MR cruise she promises a full report, including copies of the navigators. However, the dining and show times are pretty standard. The show times, for the big productions in the theater are 6:15 and 8:30 ish. People with early seating can get to the 8:30 and late seating go to the show before dining, at 6:15. Shows are usually about 45 minutes.

Hope this helps.

I spoke with my t-shirt guy and he said he has sizes through 6X ;) And also kids sizes!!

Thank you, I'm so glad your guy carries all sizes . I was also wondering if we had decided on how we would pay via paypal or send you a check or day of cruise? My Family and I thank you for making the shirts!!:)

Hi, I was just wondering the same question. We have early dinning as well and I noticed on the spread sheet most have late dinning which one is better ?

I thought that would be the case, I just wanted to double check! I think we will stick with the early, Jack is really grumpy when he is hungry and I don't want to deal with eating 2 dinners all the time. Plus this way we can have dinner and see the show and then if there's nothing too exciting going on we can get to bed at a decent time! :rotfl: I personally would prefer the later, but for him the early is probably best.

Ok, I'm a dork. I was thinking of a different room when I had our room in mind to volunteer to host the message board. I apologize. Our room is on 7 right by the forward elevators on the starboard side. If anyone else wants to host the message board, go for it! :thumbsup2 Otherwise, we can still have it. It'll just be way forward..

Ok thanks I will pay through paypal . And when you get time can you let me know my total for the five shirts? thanks again ,can't wait for the trip and to meet everyone.

The total will be $40 for 5 shirts ($8 x 5 shirts)

No pressure, I will take payments through October 1st :)

So my bf (Brett) and I were talking about the cruise and we thought it might be fun to do a casual football pool for the college football games during that week - what do you guys think? Brett said he will arrange the whole thing, it would be a very easy sheet listing all the games, and whoever picks the most wins would win the pool - we thought $5 a sheet and kids could play too because it would be a matter of picking the winners, no football knowledge needed! Brett would check the scores and deliver the pot to the winner on Saturday night (the last night of the cruise).

Just a thought! We love football and thought there might be some like-minded folks sailing with us :)

My name is Liana and I think we will be joining everyone on the October 30th cruise aboard the Wonder. With me will be my husband Mike and my daughters Emily age 13 and Clara age 10. This will be our 3rd Disney Cruise. I am super interested in participating in Fish Extenders!!! Love the t-shirts too!! Any other girls my daughters ages??? Looked like lots of boys!!! Went on a Halloween Cruise in 2009...awesome!!! Got to run...chat more later. Someone fill me in on what has been decided so far.

Thanks

My oldest daughter will be 10 when we board, I was hoping more girls her age would be coming along and low and behold they are!!
