I agree Babs, I am ready to cruise.....

Not a very productive day at work, getting a mole removed tomorrow and I am already freaking out...lol

I did ok today, it hurt more but I think that's because I knew it was going to hurt - a mental thing you know? They had a nurse come in and let me squeeze her hand.... he thinks he got it all this time! I sure hope so, I'm sore... it's hard to sit for a long time... so I'm up and walking a lot! Gotta love being a woman!

Penny, thanks for the update. So is it on 3 times a week now?

Wow what a storm last night. We lost power about 10:30 PM and still don't have any....had to come to work early just to get a cup of tea....lol

Right, Chilltown, I knew it sounded familiar. Not sure how Mike even made it on to All Stars but then again not sure how a few of them made it......

Well....you can take our names off your list for this cruise. DW and I both thought we had booked this week. We went to rebook it on our May cruise and found out that we are actually on the Oct 13 cruise.

I was off work today, had my mole removed and it is really sore and it is at the top of my leg so hurts to sit, hurts to walk....you get the picture.....

BB...Nothing exciting happened other than the veto comp was a sponge ball chip-it contest, if you have ever watched the chip-it event on DCL then you get the picture. Erica seemed to be the only one who knew how to actually chip a golf ball, lol. It was boogie's b-day and Erica wrote on her thighs Happy Brithday and Mike licked it off, gross! She did not use the veto and Diana or Nik will be going home this week.

I have to admit I freaked when I heard of the Crown Princess listing and imagined if DS and I were on that ship. Then I came back to my senses and remembered that I'm more likely to die driving to work than that happening to us. Anyway, I'm a RN so if anything like that happened I'd be "in the nurse zone" and wouldn't think about it while it was happening. I'd help others (of course if my DS wasn't injured) and deal with the after affects later!

So, cruise booked, waiting until later to book room!

I'll be on deck 7. Looks like midship! I was hoping to get one on the lower deck in the middle. I'm thinking that if I get a good income tax refund I may bump up to ocean view. Who knows? It's still a long time away unfortunately. I'm just glad to be officially on board. Do you think they'll have anything special at Castaway Cay for Pirates of the Carribean 3 coming out next summer?

Now, about the pirate-wench outfit......should I get one at the after halloween sales this year or should i just wait until we go to WDW the day before the cruise to get one? I'm hoping my a&^ won't be as big next year as it is this year so maybe I should wait .

By the way, did I mention that I'm going to try to keep this a secret from DS? I have access to a beach house in Gulf Shores, AL and will take DS there next summer. I'm going to tell him it's our vacation for the year. We do a big one every year. It's going to kill me, but I'm going to try! If I can't keep the cruise a secret, then I WILL keep the one day at MK prior to cruise a secret. I may come on here and babble like I am now to keep myself from telling him! Any suggestions on how to keep my freaking mouth closed?

Come and babble away.......I love this thread. Helps pass the time....only 460 sleeps to go.....

DD is having her 14th b-day party tonight. 13 or 14 boys and girls all together. Good thing is we have alot of things to keep them happy....just hope it doesn't rain, DD wants to have a fire and swim and go in the hot tub. If it does at least we have a pool table etc so that can keep them happy.....only from 7 - 10:30 tonight....not bad. Other than that a pretty quiet weekend.

OK, I think I'm going to do the Doubloon sailing/snorkling tour with DS. He's really into pirates right now and with the next POTC coming out next summer, I think he'd really enjoy this. The boat looks really cool, like the black pearl, only not black. Can you tell the Benadryl is kicking in?

Good Morning everyone! I've been super busy at work and after logging on to here two nights in a row with good intentions to post, I'd get interrupted and walked away while still logged in!

anywho....

Kim2 how was DD's b-day party? Did everyone survive? How's your leg feeling now?

Paula - I LOVE that you are trying to keep this a secret. My first cruise was based on the fact that I went on a cruise without him and kept running into the Disney ships... vowed to myself that I'd take him. Then.... DCL sent HIM, not me, HIM a brochure within a week or so of my return and he came running up the driveway... He took it as a personal invitation from Mickey to sail with him! I booked that one with him standing next to me (it was a priceless moment) and then I rebooked on board and he was with me then too!

Perhaps SOMEDAY I'll throw a surprise in there. I'd keep the cruise a secret and make him think you are ONLY going to WDW. Then, the morning that you leave for the cruise.... when you are packing... tell him you are going to another hotel... so he doesn't get suspicious. Are you taking the DCL bus to the port? If so, then check eBay or have someone get you the DCL coloring book or the Captain Mickey plush doll... and wrap that up with a handmade invitation to go on the cruise.

Babs - a whole weekend off, good for you! I'm in major cleaning mode because it's less than 2 weeks and my Dad and his wife (my step mother) will be here and will be staying at my house for a few days. So... it's not just cleaning, but the scrub the floor molding with a toothbrush kind of cleaning that needs to be done. UUUUUGGGGHHHH!!

This time the results of my procedure are more painful and I guess it's just more irritated being the second time it was done.
