OH my God I almost wet myself reading your message, You can't imagine the picture that I painted in my head.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Guess I'll pack 2 sweaters for you :) Richard Simmons would be proud.

I notice from your signature you've sailed "RCCL - Legend of the Seas 2005" what did you think and how did it fair iyho when put along side "mickey"?..we did the Med aboard the Legend back in 2005 ....

ps...Still no DVD Paula :sad1: am going for tomorrow as we often get letters from "mick" on a Saturday....:)

The Legend of The Seas was a little disappointing for us. We had a Junior Suite and I have to say when we walked in the room I wanted to break out a pipe, my disco music and get a gaint hair perm. Wow , the colors were a 70's yellow, orange and green with bedding that should have been retired 10 years ago.

The ship had some updates like the Windjammer which was nice, but I have to say there is NO comparison to Disney. Have you sailed Disney before? I think the entertainment on the Legend was the locals that were pulled of the islands to keep us content and to say the had shows. It was sooooooo bad! Did you enjoy the Legend?

What field? I'm in the Emergency Room and loving every minute of it!

And I'm a pharmacist, who used to our department's liason to the ED. Floor inspections, floorstock, and other issues as they came up. ::cop: I really enjoyed working with the staff down there (they're first floor, we're 7th). But I knew, if I was ever brought in as a trauma, my days down there would be done :lmao:
The computer project I spoke of was a full upgrade to our computer system. Over 9600 medication orders were back-filled by us from the old system into the new. We continue to staff extra around the clock, as we get up to speed with the new system. Many extra days of work, but more $$ towards the cruise. And what does Mrs. do? :bride: She's a retail pharmacist.
Exercise-wise: Pilates today for the lady, while the gentleman put in 3.25 miles on the bike, with some lower body weights. Need to get back into the pool next week. :scared1:
Christine was looking at navigators last night. Things she'd like to do on the cruise: the ab class, Pilates class, stretching class, kayaking excursions, & fitness center first thing every am. And perhaps the butterfly farm :butterfly: Now considering Romantic Escape at Sea again on this cruise.
Time to go, I've got some sushi with my name on it. :fish: From a small restaurant, seating only about 30. The head chef had a babysitter when young who was a sushi chef. He really knows his stuff. We went to a class of his to learn to make sushi last spring.

Nope, never heard it. I do like it though.:teeth:

I was a pediatric oncology nurse at a Children's Hospital for 10 years up until about a year & a half ago when I had enough & now I am working in a busy adult primary care office.

Hi Disneygrl36. I just went to peek at all the wonderful pictures you took of your Disney Christmas vacation . I must say the martinis' looked sooo good. One of my favorates is the apple. :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :faint:
I can't wait to get on board to get my chocolate lava cake. :yay:
My Dad is driving my Mom nuts I think he is more excited them me . He talks about it EVERYDAY, Althou his main question is " When will we get our upgrade"? LOL.

Hi Ohsodisney....glad you liked my pictures. I loved the martini flight too...except for the blah yucky classic martini & the chocolate souffle was to die for.

Can you all tell I had the day off , this is my 3rd post today. McKenna was sick at school so our trip up North has been canceled not quite sure what to do with myself DH is asleep since he traveled back from DC today.

I have a few more questions or suggestions.

1. What night is formal night , I forgot?

2. Are we all planning to met somewhere on the ship the day we arrive?

3. I know they did this on the last cruise but unfortunatley I missed it. What do you think of the girls getting together for the Martini tasting, hey men you never know this could be your luckyyyyyy night :woohoo: Single men are more then welcome to find another single lady coming back from the tasting HEHE. Men can hang in the pub and pop down a few themselves. or on deck.

4. One of the cruisers we went with last time was able to book a get together Brunch for 14 or 16 people one day which was very nice , maybe we can do that.

Anyone have any other ideas?
I also saw they did an icecream eatting contest for the kids and the adults on one cruise, that looked great for the kids.

I heard on Halloween that there isn't many places for the kids to trick or treat so the parents got together bought some candy and put signs up on their doors and the stateroom numbers on a sheet for the kids to go to for about an hour. Not that my girls need extra sugar :hyper: :hyper: :chat: :chat: :hyper2: :hyper2:

I dropped down to a size 4 very very quickly. I am a happy 6 now and will go maybe two or three times a week. I ate a funny diet to drop the pounds too.

I hate you!:rotfl2: What funny diet did you eat? Please don't say low carb because the last time I did that my friends threatened to kill me if I didn't eat any sugar. When I finally had enough, I pulled over at a gas station and got a big bag of Doritos and ate the whole thing!:lmao: I was a size 4 about 2 years ago and still have the clothes to prove it. I just let a bunch of crap get to me but not again!

I'm all for a girls martini tasting although I'd rather do the beer tasting. Hell, I'll just do them both! Maybe I'll get lucky! pirate:

Hi Vital . No far from low carb. I ate 3 yogurts a day just about, I had 4 deviled eggs everyday or some sort of egg. I ate lots of cheese. drank tons of water. I had Subway tuna salad on low carb wraps or tuna salads on wheat. I did this for about 4 weeks before we left on our last cruise and it really worked , I tried so many things and this seemed to do it for me. It seems to be a good balance between lighter carb and lighter fat , mayo has no carbs but yogurt does.

I would LOVE a whole bag of Doritos right now, that sounds so good for some reason.

Martinis & beer tastings:thumbsup2 Trick or treat:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I think we should all dress up.:thumbsup2 what happened to the T shirts. So glad they found those 2 boys:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :grouphug:

Yes i did in parts,we had a Grand Suite with their being 5 of us and it's nice to have the extra room and it was nice not to have to fly to get on the boat either ( were about 280 miles from the port and i did it in 3 hours with no problem)but this is where for us Brits the problem start, you see we dont get the weather so Saturday is a right off,Sunday is STILL cold as we move down the Bay of Biscay and it wasn't really until the Monday WE felt are cruise had begun,we did the normal ports like Gibraltar,Monte Carlo and Rome (are favorite)and had a great time (as we always do)but once we set off for home we had the weather problems again Thursday afternoon the sun went in and that was the last we saw of it and we were on the motorway home by 7.20am saturday morning so what should have been a 14 night cruise was at best a 10day if not 9 day holiday and that's just way to short for us:rotfl: ...

good points...

no flying
no mickey strips
no customs (to lose my cheap cigs)
Casio (Hazel would put that in the list below :rolleyes1 )
cabin had a balcony which could have stood 30 people (or 10 Me's)

bad points

weather in and around are waters (any USA travelers cruising from the UK need to have their heads looked at,sorry)
too many coffin dodgers ( i never went anywhere need the ball room NOT EVER:scared1: )
the UK'S have and the have nots dont mix very well unlike on DCL were the size of your wallet means zippee (in most cases)

Jess came out with the best comment when trying to compare Cruise's "dad you have to remember when your on the "Madge" everyone loves Disney and on here everyone has a different reason for being onboard"

ps...I still haven't paid them the $4000 i ran up on charge during the last few days of are cruise....:woohoo: but I'll save that little beauty until we cruise together in October....:rotfl2:

o.k thse are my favorates:
Fuuny you say coffin doggers, We did the Costa cruise and that is exactly what was on the entire ship . There was noone under 60! I will say thou they LOVED the humor they must have found in us since most days I would get up and walk around the ship and give a little squeaze squeaze to all the naked men statues and go on the deck wrapped in my toga sheet from the bed. Hell there was not much else to do to entertain myself :bored: . The first time I did grabbed one of those naked statues they were all rolling on the floor , we did seem to make many friend with the cool but old ones rather quickly.

So we should leave our drinking money home? :rotfl2: :confused3

Hi PaDisneycouple, we didn't take part in any of the classes either for the same reason . I know you can sign up for most classes right onboard. I honestly can't remember if you could on-line. Let me know if you get any information on that . I tried the eliptical and I think I was making myself sea sick  , the boat was swaying one way while I was trying to go another.

Oh dear... Chris, there's no chance you'll be arrested and in jail by the time "Madge" sails? :lmao:

Coffin dodgers! I almost spit my fake coffee everywhere! :lmao:

My first cruise was a Costa cruise way back in 1989! My grandparents paid for all the kids and grandkids and spouses. I had fun b/c it was my first cruise and I was 18. There were a lot of young people on that particular cruise for senior trips and such. We rocked the dance clubs at night. In fact, the last night I almost missed my ride to the airport b/c we all drank too much champagne and slept in one room with no alarm clock! I woke up and my sister had crammed all my stuff in suitcases and was making up things to the family about where I was! Nothing like flying home with a champagne hangover! I will say this, Costa has the BEST food I've ever had on a cruise! It was like eating at a 5 star restaurant every night. It was an Italian boat and our waiter called all of us Bella which I thought was strange until I found out that meant beautiful in Italian!

As far as exercising, hand to mouth and using stairs will be my main form. Also water sports will be my aerobic exercise, well, that and getting my pic made with Captain Jack Sparrow. He always makes my heart rate go up!pirate:

Oh yeah, the lottery is 155 million tonight! Wish me luck!pirate:
