You can specify which of the seatings you want? I didn't realize that!
I didn't either. I guess they just don't want everyone showing up at exactly the same time. Does it really matter which one I pick though?

That time thing for dinners determines your dining rotation. I just know I have early dining, I don't care about the rotation. I know alot of people do but not me......just as long as a I have a table and a chair don't care.... :rotfl:

Oh BTW, the drink I want in St Thomas is a BUSHWACKER....not sure why I couldnt' remember that..... :rolleyes1

I tried to book a car rental today, apparently you can book into October 07 yet....what is wrong with these people don't they know there are obsessive planners out there :p OK rant over.....

Hope everyone is having a great day......soon it will be only 1 year away :dance3: :faint:

Haven't posted in awhile, been busy just like everyone else now that the kiddies are back in school and sports and piano and scouts and our school's festival.... wow!

Anyhow I see we got a big crew going now! Can't wait to meet everyone.

It's fun to see how many DISers are out there. When I was in Disneyland in August I put lime green mickey mouse ears stickers on my backpack. Every once in awhile someone would comment that I must be is DISer. It sure is a small world but a big discussion forum!

I had requested the late sitting but my TA changed it to early. She said that if you eat too late you may miss some of the shows and parties. I just left it at early. I figured once on board, it would be easier to change it to late from early than the other way around. The only thing I didn't like about early was feeling rushed to get back to the ship to eat. Then I came to my senses and realized that we don't HAVE to eat in the dining room if we don't want to! What a realization! Made my life easier!

I'm wondering if those are the times she gave you if all the early seatings are booked or she figured since you are an adult minus children you'd want that seating. I guess to answer your question, I'd pick the earliest late seating if you want the late seating. That sounded kinda like Captain Jack Sparrow talking! pirate: It also could be that it's so stinking early here!

Just returned home from the 11-night Southern Caribbean (Sept 17-28) aboard the Wonder -- was away with my girlfriend. This was my first-ever cruise, and I had such a great time that I couldn't wait to go again.....................sooooooooooooo, while still on-board, I booked hubby and me on the Oct27/07! :cool1: :cheer2:

:welcome: Wow, this is going to be a Canadian showing! I'll have to brush up on my Canadianisms, eh? My step mom is Canadian so I'll ask her!

At least I'll have a fellow southerner, well kinda, on board. I really need someone else to be saying "y'all" with me pirate: .

:welcome: , have you finished your trip report? You did know that it's mandatory upon returning from Disney? Don't worry though I think you still have a few days left to turn it in. Hope you have some good pictures; that should get you extra points (especially pictures of food and characters). ;)

You live in Toronto, or just outside? I've got family from Peterborough and friends from Oshawa, and a few other places.

Don't forget about us! Anywho-been a long week at work for the 2 of us, and we're enjoying a weekend off at home. Part of our Friday unwinding was reading up on this thread. Thanks to all for such warm greetings. While we wait for the next batch of laundry to come out of the dryer, we thought we'd share a little about us. :laundy:
We'll be celebrating our 10th anniversary, on our 2nd ever cruise (both with DCL). Being early to bed, early to rise types, we've got main dining. We like to get up early and walk around the ship and hit the fitness center before the sun comes up. That way we've got lots of room for the buffet breakfast. :woohoo: Last summer we learned to kayak, so we might book a shore excursion involving that. When on vacation and not at WDW, we often head to the Finger Lakes of Upstate NY. Our next trip to WDW is late this October. Our first Contemporary stay. Just got our first-ever digital camera. My assignment from DW is to figure out how to use it before we leave in a few weeks.
Time to tackle the sock monster.

Christine, please forgive me.... I had you both on the list once... somehow I cut too quickly when trying to paste it together! So so sorry!

Noah and I have gone to WDW in late October twice in the past few years. You will LOVE the weather!! Enjoy your trip and give Mickey a hug for me!

Mr and Mrs george (aka Ryan and Rosie)are 12 tomorrow (just where does 12 years go BTW?) so they were given some cash to do as they pleased with, rosie is a thinker, you know more of a stocks and bonds type of girl were as Ryan is more of a oops i better go back out Ive STILL got 25 cents left to spend type of lad.
Friday night comes and baz is staying over (baz is man's best mate joined at the hip most of the time this Despite baz having Muscular dystrophy and having to spend most of his time in a Electric wheelchair)BEWARE IF YOUR EVER AROUND ARE WAY OF TWO BOYS FLYING ALONG AT BREAK NECK SPEEDS ON WHAT LOOKS LIKE A DEATH TRAP TO ME :rotfl2:
I say,Where you going digger?,you and baz going into town tomorrow?..."Er no,errrr am going to the pictures with meg"...hello,hello whats all this then son "Megan's coming at 2.15 and Jess is dropping us at the pictures then were going over to mac & Dee's for (get this the boys 12)a bit of something to eat"...
The lads fall out of their pits at 9.00am have some toast and then disappear off up to baz's house, come 1.45 still no sign of Ryan so off i go to find him, ryan Megan will be here shortly and you aint been in the shower yet "were'nt goner bother dad" GET UP THEM BLOODY STAIRS YOU LITTLE TRAMP...2.30 still no megan, ryan's trying (badly) to play it cool am sweating, the wife sweating until his trusted side kick Rosie comes to the rescue AGAIN,she'll be here in 10 says Rosie on putting down the phone...thank god for that am thinking the thought of his first broken heart at the age of 12 was killing me and his mum.
Jess takes loves young dream out on their first date and i hear nothing for 3 hours until Jess rings to say their not where they were suppose to be to get picked up....Am just beginning to think on how to explain to Megan's father that his beautiful daughter has eloped with my 12 year son when Jess Say's "Mr ladykiller is here" with their Starbucks coffee's (did i mention Ryan dont even like coffee)...
Jess goes out and takes Megan home at the same time, how did it go fella?,i have to say i expected nothing in return maybe an odd grunt if i was lucky...."Dad it was ace,we just talked and laughed all the time,i didnt lie when i said she's the the best looking bird in year 7 did i dad?...no son you didnt...The look on his face when he said it will live with me till the day i become one of gods little sunbeams....

Definitely Good Form pirate:

Ok, I need some motivators! I NEED to exercise before we cruise! I want to be able to put on my bathing suit without being self conscious. I was able to do that last summer, but lost that motivation. :sad2: So I need some :cheer2: to get me off of my butt!

Besides, some of you will be seen with me in public! :lmao:

Toronto is tied for my favorite city to visit... the other is Chicago. Both are easy to get to from the Detroit area (I live about 40 minutes north of Detroit) and I LOVE taking the train to Toronto!! Such a diverse area and I have always felt safe there!

Let's us know when your TR is done! :woohoo:

Enjoyed chatting with y'all last night! :teeth: I'm checking into which resort to stay at when I go the day before the cruise. I can get a discount for the Swan/Dolphin for $169 a night since I'm a nurse. I checked into total price for the S/D and POFQ. S/D is only $7 more. Now, the delimma. I'm trying to find out which one is closer to MK since that will be the only park we go to. We are coming in late Thursday night and planning on going to MK for the day and coming back to room for rest and change for MNSSHP. So as you can see we won't be in the room very long. I was thinking of WL but almost spit Dr Pepper out of my nose when I saw the price. I'm all for paying a little more for convienence, but good grief! So, any and all input will be appreciated! pirate:

Do we know for sure what nights MNSSHP will be next year? If there is one on Friday night before our cruise I'd think about coming in earlier on that day....

I'm pretty sure that it is the Friday before we cruise. I think that's what my TA told me. I'll double check and make sure. That would be awesome if we could meet up for that! pirate:
