Just checking in. I happily found us on the first page! Hopefully more will join us! I've got Disneyland next month and I'm looking forward to it. Last time we were there we went with another family that wasn't as disney oriented as we were. In fact we went with the same family in April to WDW and they tired out very easily and wanted to go back to the hotel much earlier than we did.

We are going to go to Universal and SeaWorld too. My kids are old enough to appreciate both and won't get scared by the rides at Universal. Staying at the Disneyland Hotel which is so convenient to everything. ;) ;)

 Hey Lori... glad to see you post! I'm very envious of your upcoming trip. I have a long weekend planned for Chicago and perhaps a Non DCL :bitelip: girls only cruise at the end of next April in the works....

Tonight, I can't sleep  and it's making me :furious: DS, on the other hand is snoring... :lmao: I'm off to try again.... Happy 4th to everyone in America!

Hey Lori!!!

Back to work today.....I love long weekends... :goodvibes

We are planning a day or two at WDW before our cruise this October, just depends what flight we get.

I wish SW would release there next round of dates :rolleyes1

Hope you all have a great day!!!

Kim

Thanks! Dr. is removing some lumps that I had a biopsy on ... but we already know it's not cancer it's just precautionary to remove them. I anticipate it being uncomfortable for a few days... I'll take uncomfortable over cancer any day! :cheer2:

I'm home, headed for bed rest... thanks for the well wishes! :cloud9:

I also went to Wal-Mart this morning before my procedure and bought a ton of American Flags, patriotic art, bows and ribbons to decorate my son's day care parking lot and to line the street. The funeral procession for our Fallen Hero will be driving by the day care center and my SIL will call the day care when the procession starts.

This way, all the school age kids (with parents permission of course) will line the road, waving flags and signs showing their respect and support for the family. Not a statement of support for the war, by any means, but a way for the kids to show the family that we mourn their loss too. Since I can't go to the funeral myself, I thought it would be a good way for me to do something.

My heart is still breaking...

I slept quite a bit today, which is a good thing! :upsidedow

I posted this question on the CB, but thought you ladies can help me decide as well. I originally posted a few weeks ago, trying to decide between the Saturn Vue and the Toyota Highlander. I want to buy a new vehicle in September.

Well, today, I saw a bright red, VW Beetle convertible and fell in LOVE :lovestruc  Am I having a mid-life crisis? I had already decided on a Vue... have it all picked out, etc... but oh my, that bug really gave me a bug to own one.... Not nearly as practical but oh so cute! :drive:

Ladies... am I losing it? :lmao:

Had the Vue as a Rental in Orlando, would not buy it, it was too high. I don't enjoy crawling into the driver's seat, lol.

I miss my SUV... my car I have now is low to the ground and I hate not being able to see when in heavy traffic.... The VW Beetle will keep me low to the ground again.... that's my ONLY hesitation... that and space for sports equipment for DS.... :confused3

Hey Kim1 glad all went OK.

Little convertible love it. I went through the family vehicle phase when the kids where younger. Mini-van to carry the hockey gear. But now they are older and don't go that many places with us so we went back to smaller sportier vehicles....some day I will get my 68 Camaro SS....some day :wizard:

 I'll let y'all know when I get whatever I get..... now I'm coveting a car.... oh my. :cloud9:

Today I emailed my TA to have her find a cruise next late April/Early May for my two girlfriends and I. A GIRL's only cruise.... yee haa.... we have so much to celebrate!

One is turning 50 and the other has NEVER had a vacation without her kids. I can't wait to see what the TA comes up with! We want a newer ship (last 3-5 years old), a verandah and at least one of the ports has to be Cozumel!

Any of you ever done a Non-Disney cruise that you would recommend? :yay:

I have cruised on Carnival in Feb, it was on Celebration but it is a much older ship. It was OK but it showed it's age.

This October I am going on Miracle which does western Caribbean out of Tampa and they go to Cozumel, Grand Caymen, Belize and Costa Maya. It was built in 2004 and is the same size was Magic. However, I can't tell you much else until after October.

Sorry, what does this mean? Do we wear special tags or hats or flowers in our hair to recognize one another? :confused3
