Put our deposit down today for this cruise! :cool1: Any others out there? I know it is way early, but thought they may be some other early planners out there.
It is myself, DH, and DD (10) and my parents.
This will be our 5th Disney cruise. :teeth:

We booked last week when the rates came out. We hope to keep it but have to see how DS does this Oct with missing a week of high school. This will be our 8th Disney cruise. We have #6 coming up in May and #7 in October. It will be me, DW, DS (15) and DD (12 at time of cruise)

Dave

I know what you are saying! We hope that DD's teacher approves it when the time comes. You are going in May and October, I am so jealous!! We were on in Feb. and the weather was horrible.

I booked when the dates opened last week!!!!!! We are saving over $200.00 compared to 12/06 double dip, whose afraid of a possible hurricane, lol!!!!!!! October is Gulf of Mexico storm season, so we should be good on the Eastern.

Staying in "my" cabin, a cat 11 sideways, deck 6. Bringing Mom (59 at cruise time) with me on this cruise, she hasn't cruised since 01/04, she is so jonesing!!!!!!!!!

Will check in every so often, but will be a regular after the December double dip!

I get disney travel agent e-mails, doing Disney College of Knowledge, so there is news about new excursions. Something about a powerboat cruise through a lagoon on St. Maarten, sounds like the thing for me!!!

Talk about early planning, lol!!!!!!

Page 2 is bad enough but page 3???? I thought we totally dropped off the boards :rotfl:

We have got to try to stay on page 1 or at least 2. :teeth:
We are thinking we may have to go on a cruise this Fall to hold us over until next Oct. :bounce:

We are thinking we may have to go on a cruise this Fall to hold us over until next Oct.

You need to go Oct 28th Halloween cruise. Then we can count the 2007 cruise as a reunion cruise :rotfl: We have had really good luck with the October weather.

Dave

Are you going on that sailing this year? We have also been looking at the Sept.2, 2006 sailing. My daughter would only have to miss 4 days of school. I have to the weekend to decide. :confused3

Do you have to take your kids out for the whole week or do they have some days off during that time? What kind of special things do they have going on around the ship for Halloween?

Sailing 09/12/06 last offical double dip for '06! We don't even know if we are going to cozumel yet, no oneelse on the Magic has this year yet. Some think it is due to the number of ships in port on normal western Cozumel docking day. It might be fine for us as we are docking on a different day of the week.

Mom wont talk about the '06 cruise, because she can't go due to work schedules, ouch.

:wave2:

Hello!

I'm XLT's DW.............

Just popped in to say "Hi" to all!!!

Fran
:teacher:

We take the kids out for 5 days and DW also since she is a teacher.

Not real sure about the Halloween activities as this is our 1st Halloween. We are planning a DIS trick or treating though.

Dave

That sounds like fun! :goodvibes We have found an agency that has group rates for the Sept.2, 2006 and it is about $400 cheaper than going on Oct.28. But, there is just something about spending Halloween on the high seas!! :teeth:

Hi tchrmom! Do you all have strict attendance rules in your area? So far this year my daughter has only missed four days and that was when we went on the Feb.11 cruise. I think her teacher was just as excited as she was to be going. But, we will have to wait to next year and see what the teacher says.

Just giving us a bump.

Supposed to be another great weekend here ( 3rd in a row with no rain)

Have a great weekend
