THE BRACELETS HAVE ARRIVED!!!!!!!!They are a little lighter green than I thought they would be, but other than that........I think they look good. Love the Disney font. I have 4 extra so if you didn't order them & want some still let me know.

Ok, now those of you that want them pre-cruise start sending me those self addressed stamped envelopes to get them in the mail to you.

Yes, still exercising but I figured y'all were tired of hearing about it by now!

Kim text me yesterday so I know she's still alive!

Weather was really rainy and some wind, but it's over now. I don't know how much rain we got, but it was a lot in a short period of time. It's supposed to be in the 80's here this weekend. A cold front is coming through. I don't want it to get much lower than that. I'll go into hibernation. Wait, this year I'll have a fireman to keep me warm

Well, off to wake the whelp and shower. Y'all have a fantastic day and I'm sure I'll check in during the day at work.

and will you accept cash on the first day of the cruise??........

Just read a thread about where to eat when you first arrive on board the ship.
Do you know where you will be eating??????

I think the choices are PARROT CAY, TOPSIDES and 3 FASTFOOD PLACES...i like the idea of sitting outside, but i understand it will be a little tougher to get a seat and get food and drinks.
DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE EATING??????????

I also like the idea of eating inside and realxing in the air, and having someone bring me a drink?????????

I will ask the family and take a vote, and that is where we will eat.

I think my son and I will be heading to Parrot Cay. I think Topsiders will be really busy that afternoon and I don't want to hassle w/ the carry-ons and trying to get food/place to sit/etc. If anyone wants to join us, that'd be great!

On our last cruise we tried to eat a Parrot Cay but the CM’s at the door said it was full so we ended up at Topsiders which was packed. It was nice that we were able to eat outside and it was with the sun glaring off the water to the point of blindness that my husband realized he had forgotten his sunglasses. I’m guessing he wasn’t alone since shortly after lunch we spotted the first ad for the sunglasses sale that would be taking place in the onboard shops later that day. Ironically, the sunglasses he got in the shop were better and cheaper than the pair that he had left at home.

and then when we board.......... (What time will we board?????)

we go eat and wait for our room

How long does it take to board and how long in between #s ....so how fast will everything fill up??????

and then after we get into our room, ...we can unpack etc......but then we have a meet.......what time and where??????

So, it’s only 11:30 but I’m looking forward to the day being over. Perhaps it’s because I’m working this whole weekend. My company is having a “Deal of the Century” and everyone is pitching in. I normally work in the corporate office but I volunteered to work in a sales office this weekend. Thought it might be interesting to see what goes on in the field.

I’m hoping that it’s busy because I think that will make the time go faster. If not, you know I’ll be daydreaming about this cruise!!

Me and mom will do Parrot Cay, we will board in group #1 (how do I know that, she is labelled as needing help and will have her walker, we are in a Hcp room.)


The "FULL" PC happened in December, I was group #3 and by the time I got to parrot cay, i was told it was full, but I knew that my DIS pals had held a seat for me, so I said "that's ok I am with the people in the green shirts" there was a short look of fear and the CM let me through, . I still don't know what I said.

I love seating up at Topsiders and watching the baggage being tossed into the binds for loading onto the ship. And smelling the sea air, and watching dolphins in the bay.

DM may change her mind and want to eat at Topsider, she has done each once so far.

Babs, a check would be fine. I was thinking the padded type envelopes that you can get & just put enough postage for however many bracelets you ordered.

If you want to wait that is fine. Cash the first day would be fine.

The bracelets ended up being $2.05 each.
I don't mind one way or the other. If you want them ahead of time, then send me a check & a self addressed stamped envelope & I will mail them. If you want them the day of embarkation, you can just pay me that day & we can look for each other at the terminal. I just want to make sure everyone gets them. I had thought of paypal but it just confuses me. If you want your bracelets now & to pay me on board that is fine too..I will still mail them out to you ahead of time if you send me the self addressed stamped envelope. I trust ya'll to pay me later.
