Yessss, we did it!

We got all of yesterdays shows on 2 videotapes despite deing out of the house for almost 6 hours for a Hershey Bears game. My plan was to get them all on as few tapes as possible, then get rid of old tapes. However, as we were watching a few minutes of some of the shows, Sean remarked that even though they are old shows, there is so much new material in them that he will need to save the previously taped shows. :happytv:

Darn. This does not help my plan to get rid of that basket full of old VHS tapes. If only we were more techno-savvy and could have recorded these to a dvd.

Darn again. We were not able to watch all of the shows yesterday so we will have to do that today. ;)

Christine

We watched bits and pieces of the shows lat night, but we did DVR them all so i am sure during the next week or so i will watch them all.
I was sure they were going to announce a new park, on the one spot i was watching earlier. I am sooo much wanting them to do so. DH wants to go and be a project manager for them so bad, and this would be a great way if they had alot of projects all at once!:cool1:
But he will keep trying anyway!

Been reading some recent Eastern trip reports (from the 3/17 cruise), and had an idea. What if we all tried to get together and have a group picture taken by DCL? Do you think they'd do it? (paging Auntie PJ) Surely with all of us, they'd sell a few copies and make it worth their while. I was thinking outside Lumiere's on an at-sea day. Christine likes the idea, so I thought I'd ask. Even if DCL won't do it, we could play pass the camera.

For those who've joined recently, some of the thoughts:
Palo brunch (filled to capacity already)
Bird watching, led by Mr Gent and Ronnie
T-shirts. TBD
Wrist bands. TBD, but the more we talk about it, the more we like the idea.
Embarkation day meet at the Promenade lounge around 3pm
Adult beverage tasting, led by Vital, Kimmielee, OhSoDisney :cool1:

Other than Palo, I don't think anything is set in stone yet. All ideas welcomed.

Forecast for today and tomorrow here at PADC: sunny and mid 70's. Snow showers Saturday.

Sean

I love the picture idea...i am sure we could find enough people to pass the camera!

Pam The gymnest is my grandaughter. I have % grandkids and they are all going on the cruise. Thanks for careing .Paula lucky you I have never been to Neworleans.:goodvibes :thumbsup2 ;) :) :cutie:

Just back from the dentist. Always a pleasant experience as long as the gas is involved:rotfl2: . My lip is numb and I'm trying my best not to bite it.

I've been to New Orleans so many times I feel like I grew up there also. It's a fun place to go, but I don't think it will ever be the same again. Makes me sad for those days when you would hear the jazz bands playing and the smell of the cajun food cooking. Oh well, at least I lived the "original" New Orleans. My application was on the nurse recruiter's desk when Katrina hit. I had made plans to move closer and work there. Everything happens for a reason. I do believe that even though it's hard to understand sometimes.

Now, how many more days do we have?pirate:

I hope everyone had a great weekend. My boys are back from Disney World and back to reality. They had a fantastic time and look all tan and happy. I really wish I could have gone with them

DH thinks he may have a business trip within the next month or so to Puerto Rico. Yeah! I am so hoping I can with him. I have never been there and would love to go. My boss said I could go even though the timing is bad and I really don't have the vacation for it, but I just need to see if everything gets finalized and if the airfare isn't too high.

vital, my DH just got back from the dentist today as well. I was just thinking how I need to go get a cleaning. I love that gas as well. :cool1:

Kimmie - TBD :lmao: :lmao:
POOR DIZZI!!!

Awe, the dentist, always a pleasure, mine is a real doll;) :rolleyes1
and my Chiropractor........................ he's just plain dreamy!! :cloud9: :rolleyes1
(it's ok DH knows I think he's HOT too LOL)

Paula, I am so sorry I didn't make it to DTD today, looks like it will be Saturday instead. Our Branch Exec needed help at the office today so I had to go in:mad:
I have seminars the rest of the week:sad2: Saturday should be good though!!

Ok, Time for the Pixie Dust!!I got the letter from Disney Visa today asking for the copy of my SS card and proof of address. PIXIE DUST that they think it looks NORMAL this time!! If so I think I can convince Dh to let me go ahead and book the DD2008 cruise. I am not telling him anything until the card is in my hand and ACTIVATED!!!:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :tinker: :tinker: :tinker: :tinker: :tinker:

Sean

Better place to meet is at the Goofy pool, same time, bright sunshine, and a pic in front of the Dumbotron, my last cruise we caught the DOD in the background, :rotfl:

Is anyone doing a Palo dinner group, 12 min -14 max. I will look for the e-mail to send a request into for the group leader.

Hey everybody..
It was a busy weekend here. I attended a bachelorette/lingerie party for my cousin on Friday night. We met friends for lunch on Saturday & ran errand & yesterday was rest & watch the Disney marathon on the Travel Channel day. :lmao: Why is it I still think I need to watch those shows even though I have seen them a million times????

Would love to do a group photo....tell us when & where.

Still loving the bracelet & tshirt idea. I love the design in PJ's siggie still.

Paula........when I first read your little April Fool's joke you got me, but then I remembered what day it was. Thanks for posting the specifics on the nursing job...that would be awesome but the pay kinda sucks huh

Ducky on our cruise.........wooooooooooooohoooooooooooo!!!!! I've never seen him...that will be so exciting for me as I am a huge animation buff. Got to meet Bill Justice as a child & he drew a Snow White for me that I still have--framed & out for all to see.

Pam.......pixiedust: for the Disney Visa & let me just say how envious I am that you can DO Disney anytime you want. Lucky!!!!!

CAN WE GO YET?????????

I Have 5 grandchildern not % looks like 96 I never look what i write. How do you reserve the room in Palos?:cutie:

Whomever gets together a group, i will pass on the e-mail address of the group booking person.

Needed
First and Last Names of each person
Stateroom for each person

Anyone who is interested in getting a group together, they do one group per night in the private room.

Good morning all! I'm in a slump today. Didn't sleep good at all last night for some reason. Just a funky mood. Oh well, maybe I can get a good trauma first thing in the morning and get some adrenaline going to make me feel better. Sad life, I know.

Melanie-I agree about the pay for nurses. I wonder if food and your room are included. If they are, then if you are a single person, that's not bad at all. Especially if you didn't have rent at home to pay!

Pam-That's OK. We have a few months to decide!

OK, I need to get in the shower. Have a great day!pirate:
