Actually we were discussing this the other day. Perhap at the last dinner she will be celebrating her B Day a few days early. She's undecided. We will likely play it by ear.

Sam's bday is Oct 21st, but we get back from Puerto Rico Oct 15th. Then 10 days later, we fly down for this cruise. So, this year it may just be dinner at the Melting Pot on her B-day with her siblings.

Welcome! I've added you to the roll call on the first post. You'll find info about the FE on that post. You'll just need to PM nenner1 with your info. Since you are new to the Dis you'll just need to get your post count up to 10 to PM. It's easy you can just post on this thread a bunch of times to get your count up.

Hello All, we finally let the cat out of the bag to the kids for the cruise over Christmas break. To say the least they are EXCITED.

It looks like there are a lot of 9-10 year old girls going which is great since my daughter is 9 and can be shy so it will be awesome for her to get to know a few kids off the bat. Did I see somewhere that there is a kids thread as well? If so, can someone provide a link.

I surprised Sam with a cruise. I was really afraid of cruising..petrified. But she asked for over a year. We went to WDW first on her Mommy and Me trip. Then I told her we were going to the airport and drove right up to the port. I got it on video, and her little face lit up when we drove over the bridge and she saw the cruise ship. Although, I'm not sure the rental company would appreciate the video as much.

Not sure yet if our husbands will be joining us this year but I'm thinking after hearing about all of the exciting times we had on last year's cruise, I won't be surprised if they come along this time!

Looking forward to planning with all of you and I have also just joined the FB page for our trip. Last year's FB page was great for planning extra activities like private mixology classes and a cabin crawl!
