FE EXCHANGE

hello everyone,
since taking over the FE from Jen, i have had a couple of people drop out due to the group size, i have also had a few requests to split the group. we currently have 41 families registered.
So my plan is to ask the group collectively here and on facebook to pm me with their opinion on splitting the group, intially i would just like either a yes or no. however if you would like to put forward a proposal on how to split the FE group, then i am happy to hear that as well.
you only need to pm once either on here or facebook, once everybody's opinions have been received (deadline 25th April 2014) i will feedback to the group.
hope this is ok, many thanks sarah :)

Bumping thus up, so it's seen :cool1:

Hello everyone, my name is Sarah Lane, I am one of the moderators on the Facebook page. When Jen and Ron announced they sadly had to leave the group I offered to take over the organisation of the FE and jenn accepted. I will spend the weekend just checking it all out and will get back to you all after the Easter break. As far as I know Corey is organising the private trick or treat, the door decorating contest and cabin crawl are no longer happening. The roaming mickey is still going ahead though. If you would like to be part of the FE, TOT or Roaming mickey please send me a pm either on here or on Facebook.

As for the group tshirt I have posted tonight on Facebook that I think it's fair to open up the designing of said tshirt to everyone in the group. The plan is to put any designs submitted as a poll so fellow cruisers can vote for their favorite design. Designers will remain anonymous at the voting stage but will be revealed when announcing the chosen design. If you would like to have a go at designing a tshirt, please pm me your design by the 10th may, so I may prepare the poll. The poll will be posted here and on Facebook, everyone will have 1vote each.

Bumping so it's seen

Please can someone direct me how to share a link on the page, I am new to disboards and unsure of how to do it :)

Here is the new DIS thread for our cruise.

Please come on over and pick up where this one left and join us. New Page with the all of the information needed.

New Oct 25th DIS Cruise Meet Thread.

Thank you to everyone that was patient while I was out. Three kids in three different directions. Every mom can understand craziness of Saturdays with three active children. We can now leave the rudeness and negativity of this thread and move on to happier times and a more positive vibe. It is going to be an awesome cruise.

Also the new builds have a better space ratio, which is never/rarely mentioned. Dream Class 37, Magic Class 34. Of course the pools can't be visited during regular hours regardless of vessel. lol. :( But if you know that going in it helps. /QUOTE]

Ok I'm lost. .....

Dream Class refers the the two similar new vessels, the Dream and Fantasy. Magic Class refers to the Magic and Wonder.

The Space Ratio is a way to sort of indicate the amount of space for each pax.
This isn't necessarily accurate for a lot of vessels, but with DCL I feel it is more accurate than many. Both the Magic Class and Dream Class are built with a similar style therefore comparing the space ratio between these two classes is a fair and generally accurate representation of space relative to each other. IMO.

This # is calculated by dividing tonnage/displacement by pax load.

Point is the Dream Class has more. Of course not on the pool deck unfortunately. lol. We were concerned about crowding, but it turned out to be a non issue for us. However, we never tried to find the masses of pax. ;) Some say Dream Class is more crowded, others feel the other way. I suppose it could vary somewhat on each sailing. You won't know how you feel till you give it a try.

As to the pool hours you are correct. DCL has some long pool hours including the AquaDuck. :thumbsup2 I was referring to the hours I recommend pax use them. That is when they are less crowded and more safe. IMO.

HTH
