HI EVERYONE!
well me and my wife are doing the happy dance once again, October 2014 were going back to the world for 15 full magical days!
last year we stayed in the new Art Of Animation resort which really wasnt for us. i really didnt rate the rooms or resort in the little mermaid rooms. the food in the resort was pretty good though!, i really couldnt grumblem at the food choices.
the highlight of my trip this year will be staying back in the Port Orleans:Riverside resort, Which is our home away from home!!
We are planning more time for the food and wine festival this year, were going to see some more of the concerts at the eat to the beat as Suga Ray were amazing last year
More Halloween!! over here in the UK our Halloween is poor so i love coming to America and seeing all the Halloween stuff in the parks,
Mickeys Not So Scary i will be booking around 4-5 parties again this trip,
(only 2 adults and as i said we dont get Halloween back home so we always get a goood ammount of party tickets)
were going to que again for Jack Skellington & Sally they were one of the best meets of the previous year.
also planning on more time to play sorcerers of the magic kingdom
Anna & Elsa M&G will hopefully still going on, just seen the film over christmas and im thrilled there in the parks for us to go see. ive seen the talking Olaf on the roof of the M&G which i thought was pretty awesome.
We are planning on heading over to AK more this trip, last year we spent alot of time at MK and didnt do many other parks.
AK Kilimunjaro Safari with EMH wil be high on my list. first thing in the morning to see all the animals out and fresh.
I am also very excited as we have the Disney QS Dining Plan again as part of our package - this has worked so well for us over our previous 10+ trips, last trip staying at AoA meant we didnt get the dining plan and boy did we miss it!
with the new Magic-Bands we are able to plan more on our phones on the go which is amazing to eb able to do and made last trip a breeze for DDP.
I am looking forward to sitting in the resort at the bar after a long day in the parks for a couple of cold budweisers and relaxing with my wife.
At food and wine we will be defininently going back to the Convention Centre to get some of the merchandise that we missed last year and also to get a nice bottle of wine to drink in the room at the resort.
Last year in AoA they didnt have much in the resort gift shop in the way of groceries (bread,milk,snack stuff) the Port Orleans always had bread, milk different spreads for bread and snack items.
People raved about the AoA gift shop but it really wasnt that good for what i needed at the resort lol
I also am so looking forward to being back at the riverside and i am going to explore the FQ a little more this trip as we have never fully explored this resort and we have stayed there at least 4-5 trips now.
Boatwrights - OMG! the Jambalaya has to be eaten! i miss that on my last trip and Cornbread.... we in UK need to learn how to make that lol its like cake/bread so good!!!!
