This being my first cruise & all, not knowing how things typically work, is it common to have such a long name? It just seems like it would be really hard to fit that type of name in a logo and/or anything else we might want to do with it.

I've been on cruise with names as long or longer. No one had a problem.

I like Disney dreaming on the Magical Fantasy.

Can we put the date in the title? I am so not computer literate in the designing part. I made t-shirts once and they were so amateur compared to the other's I have seen.

I love the tye-dyed shirts. Has any one tried making them?

I know I'm late to the name party...but here's what I would suggest:

Wonderful Magical Dreams...Cruising the Disney Fantasy

Are we doing T- Shirts this cruise?

A little while back DH suggested Fantasizing, and I like something simple also.
Experience (or Experiencing) the Fantasy and include the dates of our cruise.

I've kept a pretty close eye on this thread, but I can't recall if there has been
discussion regarding a Meet and Greet the night before we sail for those who
will be staying in the area. We have done one on several of our Disney cruises,
and it's a nice way for people to make connections. The little ones especially love
it when they spot someone in the terminal they met the night before.

Also not sure if there was mention of a cabin crawl.

I'm stumped! What's a Cabin Crawl??

I'm stumped! What's a Cabin Crawl??

When we've done this in the past, people sign up and indicate if they are willing to have the group see their cabin. The idea is to have as many cabin categories as possible.

Meet at a specified location at a given time. Maybe a bar where you can pick up a drink.:rolleyes1

Tour each of the cabins on the list as a group. The group leader makes up the route-usually moving from lowest category to highest. Loved seeing some of those cabins we'll never be staying in.

When we've been on tours they were adults only, and that may have been to keep the size of the group and the noise within reason.

One couple had even ordered room service snacks and had cookies from the buffet.:yay: I think it was also done on a sea day prior to lunch and then folks who wanted had lunch together.

That sounds like fun! New ship, new cabins to see.....

Are we doing T- Shirts this cruise?

Not sure, but I have an idea for "our" 4 family shirts, related to words printed on each one that vary a bit from person to person. I was hoping to incorporate any logo, identifying insigna, colors, patterns, etc, into the ensemble related to our Dismeet group/sailing date. I would prefer to follow any protocol standards for our Dismeet to maintain continuity.

Is anyone on this DisMeet familiar with these topics and designs, and slick with computers or what not, that can get this rolling?

I can't help but recall what I witnessed on that other Dismeet that I linked previously in this thread. It was amazing. Perhaps we should PM that individual for help/guidance?

Any suggestions are welcome. :goodvibes

Our cruise is not that far away. :)

I'm actually amazed the time passed as fast as it did. Initially the time seemed to pass slowly. Time passed sooo slowly I questioned whether I would still be alive to board the ship. :rotfl2: Now when DCL wants their $, time seems to accelerate? :lmao:

I forget when I booked, but my guess is middle of last year. All that time, and I still haven't paid in full. :scared1: I thought I would have been PIF long ago, well, welcome to earth.:lmao:

In less than three weeks some folks will begin booking ressies and excursions we desire. That should help folks realize how close we are to fruition finally. Let's hope they will leave us some good "times" related to ressies and such.

Good Luck to all. :goodvibes

Not me, my one attempt was not very good!!

Nice talk last night . As Leisha says we live to dam far apart. Well the idea we had last night re excurisons we will do the Beach at ST Marteens together. And in ST Thomas you and Rog can go snorkling in ST Thomas and Nancy I will do the Dolphin encounter. That sounds like a plan:cool1::cool1::cool1:.
Again thanks for making the breakfast Ressi at Animal Kingdom for when we get back. I hope Leisha can make breakfast with us.

Im Ready

This will be our 6th cruise with Joanne and Roger and 5th with Leisha and Tommy. (OUR CRUISING PALS)

If you take a look at the thread for the 09/22/12 Fantasy thread, there is info on page 1/post 1 about cabin crawl/stateroom tour they are planning.

Maybe you posted info before, but just wondering if you are staying at AKV following the cruise. DH and I have often talked about breakfast there, but never seem to get around to it. Perhaps we'll try it when we are at AKV for DH's birthday trip in 01/13.

Captains Grille, Trails End and Main Street Bakery have become our favorites for breakfast.
