Happy Saturday to you, too. Sorry about the rain.

Thanks Brenda how's Sunny California? We have been to your neck of the woods a few times. We used to live in Long Beach. Dh was in the Airforce and we were stationed out there. Have friends in Simi Valley and Oak Park!!! Went to a beautiful wedding on the beach at Our Lady of mailbu. I sure do love California!!

Have a great week end. We are off of a Princess & Pirate Party. I work for a Domestic Violence shelter and this is one of our fundraisers!! Our DCL bandana's will be but to good use!!

It's nice here. Better than the week we spent on the Allure.

Wow, we live right in between Simi Valley and Oak Park. I have friends in both places.

Have fun at the party and good luck on the fundraiser.

Wow! I used to live in Simi Valley...way way back in the day!

onecoolpilot, You changed your MDR time to second, Yes? I swear you were listed for early initially. Am I hallucinating?

We were undecided at first. Last cruise (our first) seemed so rushed around dinner time. This time we're going to try second seating to see if that fits us better. Good eye

I'm still struggling with this decision. We normally eat @ 6pm. DW wants early. My theory is if you want to see the shows, you are still rushed. And we prefer not to be stuffed full at 10pm. I want time for activities (and more food) after dinner. We can always switch to late seating on board if early isn't working out. I believe main seating is full now.

yes, from what I've read on here, main seang is hard to get into later on. We'll roll with it and see how it goes. Then we will know for sure on the next cruises. Can you believe we're so close?

We tired second seating once and I HATED it!!! That is when we seemed more rushed. Like someone said, you still have the shows when main seating is having dinner, but for some reason having the show later just worked out much better for us.

Howdy. My wife Alicia and I will be cruising with you. 4th cruise for us, two on the Wonder and once on the Dream. Looking forward to it. :thumbsup2

I thought I saw you on another thread for a 4 night Haloween Cruise on the Dream, but then you cancelled?? Was that you? Or am I crazy??

DH and I have only done late seating on Disney, so don't know how we'd feel about an early time. We've been happy with late since we look for long excursions (love to snorkel), reading/pool :beach: time and even late afternoon naps.

There are so many wonderful activities on the ship that I can hardly fit them all into the day as it is.

We travel without children, and that would probably make a difference. I do know lots of folks who cruise with children, and still prefer late dining.

Guess it's what "floats your boat".:boat:

We choose late dining as well. First, we're on CA time , so it's still 5 o'clock fOr us anyways. At least until
We adjust to the time change a little. Second, when we're at home, we eat late already because of our work schedules and kids activities. So second works better for us. Also, I like to stay in port as long as possible too and don't want to feel rushed to get back and ready for dinner. My boys don't like all of the shows anyways, so we skip some.

We love late dining for the longer cruises and when traveling with friends.

The dinners seem less stressful as we can eat and gab with them for as long as we wish and then head to a club for a drink afterwards. Granted though, we usually are traveling with no small children as our group for the most part (not all) have teens and older or are empty nesters. Those with little ones just adjust to make it work.

We have done both, there are pro's and cons to both. Early- I ate less but was very rushed to get to dinner. Late- had to have an afternoon snack:cool1::cool1: had more time at the pool or in town. But we are always late to the pirate party and have yet to try the buffet!!

Hey there Back Paul....

You folks who don't know Paul and his gorgeous wife Alicia and equally beautiful daughter Jen. You will love them!!! Real people, fun, kind and just the best!!!!!

(that's what you told me to say right Paul?)

Have been off the board for a few weeks. Have been working my part time retirement job as a guide at our local Fishway Way viewing window. I will be there until the end of June. 6 or 8 weeks is enough.
Just got an E-Mail today thats Trans Air has changed our flights again for 10/18. It end up we have a 5 Hr layover in Ny before we continue on to Orlando:confused3:confused3:scared1::scared1: I guess we will have to do something about that.

Dan
