I really want to do the FE but I am a little intimated! I am not crafty AT ALL!

As far as the FE goes, from what I've read, you don't have to be crafty.

Anthonysmama is absolutely correct - for example, yesterday at lunch, I stopped at the Walgreens near where I was eating to pick my daughter up a new pencil sharpener for school - right next to the pencil sharpeners were 3-packs of Disney Princess erasers on sale for $1.50! I grabbed 2, so I now have 6 2" high Disney Princesses that cost me all of $0.50 each to toss in the goodie bags of the little girls on our FE list... Of course, the best part was showing my wife when I got home, her reaction some where along the lines of "How in the world did YOU find those?!" Many people just hit up the dollar stores, Target's dollar spot, etc. to find inexpensive Disney stuff rather than trying to make personalized items. I think ours are going to be a mix of both - when we run out of time to make all the things we've brainstormed, I'm sure my wife will use it as an excuse to go shopping!

Quick question for those participating in the FE: Since it doesn't look like there will be any Halloween activities on our sailing, and since I LOVE Halloween, I was thinking maybe giving something Halloween-ish for one of my FE gifts. So my question is this-does anyone not like/is offended by/does not want to receive any Halloween items? It's totally fine if that's the case, I just thought I better ask, I didn't want to offend anyone.

PS-wouldn't be anything scary or offensive, just the usual Halloween pumkins, etc.

Oh geez.. that was me. I didn't realize that I had another login and the login was saved on my kids computer that I replied on. I must have set one up earlier in the year when I was planning a trip to WDW. I wondered why my subscribed threads weren't showing up... lol

I emailed Disboards for help so hopefully they can cancel the other account.

hi folks,
been mostly lurking as we weren't sure until the 45 day mark if we were in for sure (which we now obviously are!) we were on the MR trip in Feb and it was awesome and we're back for our 15th wedding anniversary. still planning to totally surprise the kids (as in pull into the parking lot before we spill the beans - they'll be zoning on the DVD player or angry birds assuming we're doing to DLR ;-)

I submitted the FE form - sounds fun!
