October 15, 2016 Disney Magic stopping in DisneyWorld

Hello, everyone
We are a family of 6: mom, dad, Grandma, and 4, 6 and 8 y.o. kids, sailing Oct 15th out of NY on Disney Magic!
Will be happy to meet others on the ship!

It is actually 3 FP+ per ticket so that's each person not per family isn't it? According to the blog and DCL.

???

Just got off the near empty Disney Magic (October 7th cruise). How strange it was to have so few people onboard. After the first night they combined the 2 shows to one show and the 2 dinner seating to one dinner seating. Everyone had 6:15 show and 7:15 dinner. It was actually very nice!!! Had pretty good weather except for Sydney day. All in all for being disappointed about not going to the Bahamas and WDW it worked out fine. Crew was fantastic and it was still a Disney cruise vacation.

We were told there were only 1,018 guests onboard and they had 1,022 crew onboard. Some ratio!!! You October 15th and October 22nd Magic cruisers....your cruises are supposed to be almost maxed out at over 2400 guests.

Question: we are on the Oct 22 sailing.

The 3 FP+....

We have 2 staterooms with 2 adults 3 kids (paying full fare for 2 kids and finally a discount for our 2 year old!)
Since technically we are paying for him to cruise, will he still get 3 FP+?

Technically, under 3 do not require tickets to WDW but we are paying for him to be on the cruise!

Snap....

We are also on the Oct 22 cruise and have 2 staterooms, 2 adults and 3 kids ours are aged 12, 4 and 1. I don't expect to see any FP+ for our 1 year old and not even sure we will for our 4 year old.

I just want to see the fire works at 10pm and not miss the last bus back to the ship

I'm on the 10/29 sailing, in the "social media group" for my cruise there is a TA that was able to do a ship tour prior to the Magic's departure on the 15th, on the Personal Navigator they kept it says Port Canaveral departure time is 1am. I'm gonna assume as all of these cruises will work off the same schedule that yours and mine will be the same, you won't have any danger of missing the buses.

As you've noted, an under 3 year old doesn't require a ticket. So no FPs either.

Cruise package or not, a 2yo wouldn't get fastpasses. If you were just planning a trip to WDW, you wouldn't be able to schedule FP+ for under 3s. But you can always take them on the ride with you when you use your fastpass! (on the size-appropriate rides, of course.) Just in case you didn't realize, I wanted to point that out.
