This will be our 2nd cruise. We booked this one during our first cruise a few weeks ago. I see from your signature that you will be doing a land / sea trip and you will be staying on-site - what a great idea! We are looking forward to the Food & Wine festival and the cruise!

Yeah! I'm hoping the 3 day isn't too short. I've heard that as soon as you get on, you'll want to rebook! I wish the Dream offered longer sailings, but maybe that'll come later :) and I can't wait for the Fantasy. I've been away from the World for too long! Also ready for the F&W Festival. Are you doing your land portion before or after the cruise?

We currently plan to spent the first part of the week at WDW and the Boardwalk Villas (stumbling distance to F&W) and then cruise to end the week. It's still a bit early to book our room at the Boardwalk (11 months in advance is the earliest for DVC). Last month we did a Land-Sea-Land vacation which was very nice. We might consider doing that again, depending on how our other vacation plans end up.

As you mentioned, the desire to book another cruise while on board is pretty strong. You do get a price break and some on board credits for the next cruise. There were times when the line for on board booking was pretty long, so I think the re-booking program is very successful.

I'm not familiar with the ASM abbreviation - it is All Star Music?

Hello, I'm new to the Dis I currently use the uk discussion board but I came on here to add myself to this cruise.

It is our first Disney Cruise and we are combining it with a stay afterwards at POR . It will be our third trip to a WDW resort hotel.

I have two sons aged, at the moment ,10 and 4. my younger son will be celebrating his 5th birthday while in Florida and we are planning to do the dolphin swim at Discovery Cove on that day.:woohoo:

It's actually All-Star Movies, but I'm debating on switching to Port Orleans French Quarter if free dining or some other amazing offer comes out! Disney never usually fails me with that though, so here's to wishing some Pixie Dust on that :wizard:. And yeah, I heard about the price break onboard for rebooking! I was thinking about booking the Eastern Caribbean while we're there with a dummy date for 2012.

Welcome to the Dis! This place is the best for information! My DD will be 3 at the time of sailing, and will turn 4 in the Bahamas the next day! (October 14th).

Can't wait!:rolleyes1

Did I say 5th Birthday? I meant 6th!!

Honest mistake :) It happens to the best of us! I was thinking about adding another day at WDW after we disembark the cruise, just so we don't have to drive back to Georgia the same day! Would LOVE to get a good rate at POR.

I'm pretty sure we get different deals here in the U.K. I have free dining with my trip to POR:woohoo:. I did book my cruise with Dreams Unlimited though as it is definately cheaper for me to book via a U.S site.

That's what I'm hoping for! I'd be ecstatic to have free dining! I don't think DCL has any offers for 3 day cruises, besides OBC's. You guys in the U.K. get some GREAT offers before we even know about them! :( lol

I'm on phone booking this cruise now:goodvibes

I'm very excited this will be our 1st Disney Cruise :banana::banana:

Looking forward to participating in the FE!!

Yay!!!! Welcome! This is our 1st cruise as well, so we're still learning a lot! I can't wait to get all of you guys' thoughts on the FE! Should be lots of fun!

Very excited to do the FE, DD has some great ideas for our construction!!
I guess as time gets closer everyone gives their cabin #

Yeah, that's what I was thinking! If there ends up being a TON of rooms, I would assume we split them up into sections I.e.- you take 15 rooms, I take 15 rooms, etc, etc. Seems to have worked for some cruises! We'll just have to wait and see!
