Oh yeah!! We are also going to WDW for 7 days before the cruise and will be staying at the AOA! Will anyone else be going to WDW before the cruise?

You can get notifications from DIS if you want. You can subscribe to a specific thread. Of course I can't remember exactly how to do it, now that I was going to try to tell you! I know there are some options up near the top right of your screen, and one is something like "subscribe to thread" and you can be notified immediately, every day, or every week, I think. I'm subscribed to this one, as well as my May 2014 cruise. I just get daily notification though. I still find FB much easier to use and navigate though. I'm trying to check both...but have to say I prefer FB.

Thanks, but I know how to get the notifications, I just choose not to. I rather just check the thread in the morning and the evening for new posts. I do the same for the FB page.

I'm still trying to decide if I will dress up for pirate night in a costume or if I'll just wear a pirate t-shirt.

Hi Everyone...my name is Jeana! This will be our 2nd DC!!! I've been on 3 total, all different cruise lines now and DCL is by far my Fav! Our first DC was on the Magic! Loved Loved Loved it so much, So I can't wait to be on the FANTASY!
Will be sailing with my DH, DS(14), DD(9), and DS(4) and are in SR 7102! I'm really excited about the FE and trying to learn about those and how to get on the list.

Glad you and your family will be joining us on this cruise. I will be cruising with my special needs DD (24) and my Aunt (a kid at heart). This will be the 3rd DCL cruise for my DD & I, but my Aunt's first DCL. My DD & I have been on the Magic (2007) and the Dream (2011) and can't wait to see the Fantasy. We are really excited about it!!!

Well, you definitely found a Disney addict here!!! Although I'm sure I don't visit WDW as much as some people, it's only because I can't always afford it or am able to take the time off of work. But, despite that, my DD & I went to WDW with friends in Sept 2012 and then again with family in Feb 2013. That's the closest together we have ever been. Then we will be taking this DCL cruise in Oct.

back on page 8, Silverfox (no longer sailing with us) suggested "a meet on the first day would be fine - seemed to work out from 2-3pm on the Fantasy on deck 12 where the wading pool is. Kids were able to cool off while adults talked". Now, looking at the FE list, there are only 2 people listed with younger (under 5) kids. Do we want to keep this meeting place?

My previous cruises on the Magic and Wonder had meets in the Promenade Lounge. So the only ones that are open and open to all ages are Bon Voyage, LaPiazza, O'Gills, Vista Cafe, and Waves.

Never been on the ship before, I was thinking that BonVoyage might be an appropriately named place.

I was thinking of paying off my balance now that I have received my tax refund, but am not sure if this would have any disadvantages. Any opinions on the subject are welcome. TIA

I paid mine off before the date and I don't see anything that had hindered my cruise but I am new comer to the DCL so I might not be any help

Thanks for the information. I booked with dreams unlimited so they already give you on board credit. But this is good to know

I booked through a TA (not DU) and I got a $225 OBC! So I don't need to worry about that. I just didn't know if there were any other downside to paying off early.
