We celebrated our 15 year anniversary on the Disney Fantasy May11th-18th, 2013. It was actually pure coincidence that the cruise line was also celebrating its 15years in business. It was an amazing trip, one we will cherish for a lifetime. With so much great footage of the trip I needed to find my inspiration shots. Welcome! My son is 10...there are actually a lot of boys about the same age on this cruise. We are trying to let them all meet up at the club, so they can make some new friends, on the first day. I think the time set was 3:15 at the entrance to the kids club, if you want to stop by. My parents are coming along too!

Sounds like a plan. I will have to put it on my calendar and hope I remember. I haven't told my son we are going. I am hoping he will be surprised when we show up at the ship. Like the Disney commercials

Weird question, how are the pool towels on the ship? I have a nice fluffy beach towel that I love to use for lounging and I am trying to decide if I should pack it or not.

Weird question, how are the pool towels on the ship? I have a nice fluffy beach towel that I love to use for lounging and I am trying to decide if I should pack it or not.

I went on the Fantasy last year and since the ship was only a few months old, everything was very nice. I would not however call the towels "nice and fluffy." I would say if you have room in your luggage and you love to use it, you should pack it. I wouldn't give up anything in it's place though.

Guess it kind of depends on how much time you plan to spend lounging.

Can I ask where you got the beach towel. I've been looking for a really nice one but have had no luck.

First time cruising with my same sex partner and kids. Any other similar families going to be onboard? I'm always a little nervous about the stares and comments under the breathe that we encounter. Only because my child always calls people out on why they are staring and then proceeds to give them a lecture on manners!

Welcome to our cruise! We don't have the same family situation, but I have friends who do, so you won't get any stares or comments from me. Looking forward to meeting you and getting this vacation started!

we are different sex partners and this is our first time on a disney cruise...
(we are grandparents my daughter's family)..... and i worry about how people look at me because i am very overweight....i think it's wonderful that your child gives them a manners leture.... i applaud your family for the love you must share,,,, not all families share this bond......

We are not but my daughter's BFF has two moms who have cruised Disney as a family. They have never mentioned issues but I have never thought to ask.
