ok, Help me I have a dilemma. The kids got invited to this birthday party for a boy intheir class... I do not know him, etc. or the parents but it is at a place called Jump Zone. I've never been there before. But friends tell me that I it is Giant bounce houses... SOme of they require the parents to go in with the kids and jump. 1.) I can not due that due to the stitches in me still.
2.) The kids are all congested and I'm not sure they are up to that kind of physical activity. 3.) The party is from 5-7 p.m. and at that time of day that is when I feel the wost still.

Do you think it is ok, to call in the morning and just tell the mom that we are not going to come since the kids have bad colds and I'm still not 100% and DH is not home??? The kids do not want to go.

4.)I was told it is not very clean and I'm worried that I will end up getting even more sick.....

HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

Wait, till you go you'll be depressed for days after. When we came home the enitre next week we kept saying last week at this time we were on the DCL doing _____________............

There is absolutely nothing wrong with calling in the morning and cancelling....you have health issues..and if they don't understand.....well that's too bad!! IMO

Call and tell them the truth. They'll either get over it or they won't which is not your fault. It's not like you are being a snob. We have a few places like that around here and I honestly do not think it is possible to fully disinfect them ever. We go anyways lol

Trust me we are complete geeks, we have both laptops in the livingroom LOL. She has been talking to me about DIS for a long time...she does have an obsession by the way. I can always hear her laughing when someone posts something funny.

Normally, I would let the kids go. I mean we have done Chuckie Cheese, etc.. parties, But I'm more concerned that I will end up with something else and honestly with the complications I've already have from the surgery.....and do not want any more or think I could handle anything else......!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not yet...I have so much going on before then, I haven't had a chance to think about it!!

One nice thing is this month has flown by....if the other eight month's go by as fast as this month, we will on our cruise in no time!!

LOL.....same here! Earlier Randy heard me laugh when you posted that comment about the futon. I read it to him and he started laughing too!!

We have to share a computer.....He only gets on when I'm willing to give it up!

We really should get a laptop!!

I got the little boy a gift. I'll just have the girls bring it to school with them on Monday.....

I, spoke with the kids tonight and they said they are ok not going since they want Mommy to be better to go to NYC for their Birthday and we are having a tea party next week with some of their friends........!!!!!
