Kristin, you and I have talked dinner rotation before, and since you are the expert, have Carol do whatever you think is the best rotation (if she can).

I'm glad to hear that Hannah movie tickets will be hard to get, since I stayed up to get them online that night. Only to have them become available at my favorite theater a few weeks later (they weren't on sale that first night there).

Good Morning Cruisers!!

WOW! I have got to learn to stay up later! LOL I miss so much! BUT, Steve gets home at 915, he has dinner and then I go up and read before bed. Since Christmas I have read, The Glass Castle...a true story about a girl from WV, and The Memory Keepers Daughter, about a Dr that gives up his daughter at birth because she has Down syndrom. Now I am on The Pillars of the Earth. It's a very good read...set in the 1100's, midevil times. It's a BIG book, so it might take me longer to get through it! it was one of Oprah's book club reads. My Mom got me all 3 books for Christmas and none have disappointed!

Anyway, I am happy to see some of the men popping in! I can't wait to meet everyone in person! Too bad we can't have a precruise meet! Wouldn't that be fun! I'll have to get Steve on here to chat a bit....but he works 12 hour shifts, so when he does get home, he just veges in front of the tv.

On our last cruise we had PLA rotation. The only reason I remember is that we were at Lumiere's on the second formal night. Steve and I went to Palo's that night and left the boys in the good hands of our server. They did well eating in a restaurant alone, together, without hurting each other! LOL

I just talked to Steve and told him he needs to check in here, but we are in a truck club and that thread is moving just as fast as this one! Our next get together with them is April 11. I am sure once it's over, he'll have more time to check in with this thread!

I better go for now and get a few things done today. Between and I wish I had a to help me clean my house!

Michele (WDWcrazzycunninghams), I know all about working those 12 hour shifts. The days off are nice though, I'm on a 3/12 shift. But the vegging out in front of the tv is about all I do when I get off.

The PLA rotation sounds good to me, but I don't know any different. Being in PC on the tropical night seems like a good fit. Palo probably on night 5 or 6. I'll have to check with the boss...I mean Candy.

So I may be off a bit but should us guys stick together and preplan all our outfits to the extent our wives are preplanning all our excursions? Do we all have to dress the same because I'm ebaying like crazy to try and find that "suit-in-a-bag" and I can look for more than 1 LOL

I was warned months ago my luggage will be search just in case I pack 7 pairs of jeans. Pirate night? Formal night? Semi Formal night? And who came up with this rule that you cannot be seen twice in the same outfit but it has been in force for 100 years. LOL

Randy, Steve works 5/12's each week! So that's 120 hours for 2 weeks. He has ALWAYS been a workaholic...ever since we met 23 years ago. I have just accepted it.

As for clothes, we do the double dip! LOL We will bring one formal outfit...to be worn twice, something for pirate night..not sure what....and then 2 pairs of dockers a few shirts to be worn twice. You only wear them in the evenings for a few hours. As long as you don't spill, your good to go! But then, there is the shorts, t's and swimsuits that need to be packed! I think the last time, I had one suitcase for each of us, and one extra for "fodder"....door decor, laundry soap, sunscreen, toiletries, ect. And don't forget to get your over the door shoe organizer! It's great in the bathroom to organize all that junk! Also, some folks get a second one to hang in the closet for ties, jewlery, dollars for tips, etc. They can usually be found at the dollar store....just keep an eye out. I have read they have become hard to find.

I feel a bit better today. Went to get more of my presription and boy now I am wiped out.. How are you all today??? First, time out since Christmas Eve. I mean except for Dr. app's. I drove too.. It felt weird..........

I am going to have to check out my Walmart to see if I can get another pirate treasure chest for my parents.....What area do find them in???

We got our DVC book and it is neat.........

Yes, I am feeling out of the loop so I am going to have to make time, weird that you haven't been out, sometimes that makes a big difference in our outlook. I found mine in the crafts area, where all the foam stuff is, if you can't find one, lmk and I will pick one up for you. I know the Walmart by me has 2 left plus there are 3 or 4 walmarts near me so I am sure I can get you one or anyone else who wants one.

We're Back!!!

We found our 2 Pirate Chests at Michaels! I was looking in the foam aisle and the boys were wandering. Colton came back with them! He found them in the center aisle with a bunch of other foam creations....a princess castle, a manly castle, and a Pirate Ship! I almost got the ship, but then I wasn't sure what to do with it? It would have to sit on a table. If we ALL got one, we could use it as a centerpiece, then when we got to the restaurant, we would know for sure that we "should" know the people sitting there! I am so bad at remembering names! Then we found a display of beadmaking stuff. We picked up a 36" gold chain. The brand is Beadelicious. I am hoping this will work to hang the chest. I am pretty sure I'll have to bring the zip-ties to actually hang it from the fish though. I don't think we will make the chests until we get closer to the cruise...or at least until summer. I don't want them to get mashed or dusty before then.
then we were off to Kohls. We got some pretty good deals! I got a pair of Docker shorts...reg $34 for $3.40! SCORE! and of course the rest was stuff for the boys! All toll, 9 items for $82..not too bad!
then we went to IHOP for lunch....with my coupon! It cost us the same to eat there as it would have at McD's! then into Sam's for a few things...OH! And of course, I had my Buy 1 dozen Get 1 dozen Krispy Kreme doughnut coupon, so guess what's for breakfast tomorrow??

thank goodness we are having leftovers for dinner! we didn't get to lunch until after 2.
