We finalized our reservations with Carol last night. We have a total of 4 rooms. I love the thoughts of "Secrets." Any ideas as to what to expect as far as the Statesroom gift? How about the "Secrets?"

Yes Kristen....I wish we were sailing this October but you will get your Disney fix at the World this fall, won't you?

I hope everyone has a "Magic"al day.

YIPEE Tammy... That is great news. I would love to know the secrets she has in store for us. My friend is sailing with a ver small group in May she will have to fill us in...The last cruise we got a photomemory box. I will pm my friend who uses Carol all of the time and see what she has gotten.

I am going to Disney again in Sept. For ten days. So I will get it then. Then we are going to go back for April vacation. Next summer I want to do two weeks one week at WDW and then Vero. SO I will get my disney fix. But not the same as the cruise...LOL!!!!!!!!!

I am hoping that I can pull the kids out a few days before the cruise so I can sneak in a few days at WDW before the cruise....Anyone else going to try and do that???????

Tonight is our last night of summer.:sad2: I don't know about the rest of you, but my boys go back to school tomorrow. I am kind of sad, because my baby is going to be in second grade :scared1: , but I am also glad to have the kids back in school. They are making me nuts this summer! I have an entire week and a half to myself before I have to report back to school (the beauty of a different school district):teacher: .

I hope that the rest of you are not looking at the end of the summer with such mixed feelings. I am excited for a new school year, but at the same time, I am feeling like my boys are growing up too fast and I have no clue where my summer went! My last cruise in June seems like a million years ago.

It always seems like with the end of summer comes the end of any and all free time I ever have. Soccer starts again twice a week for my DS9 on Wednesday and he turns 10 next Monday. I start my doctorate degree in a couple of weeks and life just starts picking up again way too fast.:headache: Uggh...I hate the end of summer.

By the way, I don't know if anyone is interested, but I have a blog that I update usually a couple of times a week (but my parents were in town the last two weeks, so didn't update at all during this time) at http://www.denisemueller.blogspot.com. It's really just a journal of the boys and our life, but you may find it interesting. :surfweb:

I love your blog... I love reading all of it.. Great job.. It is really neat. Your family is beautiful!!!!!!!

Hi fellow cruisers!
Just checking in. Welcome to the new cruisers - we are getting quite a group together. My nephew just booked with "our" TA so maybe his booking will help graduate us to the next "special secrets" level! At this point he's traveling as a single but at 28, who knows what next Oct. will bring...

It's darn hot in Minnesota this week. I cannot imagine our kids going back to school now. We also start after Labor Day.

Your blog looks great! I also have a blog but it's certainly not as good as yours. I don't update it as much as you do. I started it so that the kids in AZ and us could tell each other what's going on. And so that they would keep us posted with pictures. Well it's pretty much me that is posting on it.
If anyone is interested it's www.modhern.blogspot.com.

Just checking in with everybody... Hope yall had a great weekend. We just got back from a couple of nights at universal. We had a blast. My dad is flying in tomorrow. He is really looking forward to seeing our new house. He has had to cancel 4 times in the past year. I am so glad he is well enough to come.

My kids go back to school in 3 weeks, baton , babseball and scouts start up. It will be very hectic.

Hope everyone has a great week!!

Thank you all for the compliments on my blog. I started it to keep my family back home involved in my life and watch the kids grow. Of course, it turned into a little more ranting and raving on my part about whatever happens to be getting to me at the moment, but hey keeps me sane!

I know that it is early to go back to school, but it is just REALLY hot here and the kids can't really play outside a lot so at least they are in the ac and doing some productive learning. The early school start means that they get to spend a couple of weeks off when the weather is actually very nice in October, December, and March. I think that it works out great!

What a beautiful family you have! It must be amazing to be able to watch your children become parents. I can't wait for that day (not that I want it to happen any time soon).

DW is a :teacher: as well, and started back to school this week. Registration was Monday, and first day for students is this Monday. She has been in meetings and In-Service all week. We like the early schedule because of the play time we get in October.

Kristen, I sent you an email with a couple of urls for the website.
Allen

Thanks, Allen I will check it out....and get it posted to the web....

Hope the opening of school goes well....

Hi everyone....

OMG..back to school already!!!! Schools in NY don't start until after Labor Day....good luck to those going back now.

Sorry to hear about your car being broken into...that stinks!

Wow so much is happening in the group....I just read the last few pages as I am sitting in our hotel room in Key West. We have been here since Saturday and it has been great!!! We usually come just for day when we are on the Magic but we are spending 6 nights here and getting to see all the sights!!! I have to say that I really miss seeing the Magic here in port. last year we spent a few days here are the Magic was here and I had to go down to Mallory Square to see her!!! This week some other ships are in but it is just not the same without the Magic!!1

We are staying at the Westin which is right where the cruise ships dock so it is fun seeing the ships there.

Today we are going to Key West winery and the Mel Fisher museum. Tonight we are taking the Ghost Walk of Key West...sounds like fun!!!

Anyone going on the Western itinerary and needs some info on key west ask away...I will bring home all my flyers that I have been picking up on all different activities here.

Kids went jet skiing yesterday and had a ball.

Welcome to all our new friends joining the cruise....it is quite the crowd going now!!! Could I get the link to the list...would love to see it.

I am going to check the blogs that were posted and then wake the fam up and get some seats at the pool...I need to log on and check our thread to get my "fix".

Have a great day everyone!!!:thumbsup2 :yay:

We're back from our RCCL cruise. It was fun.
We saw the Wonder leaving PC last Thursday. It rained off and on all afternoon, I hope they managed to squeeze the sail away party in between showers!
For the price it was great :thumbsup2 and we'll probably do it again, but Disney sure does everything better!
Carmen
