Kristin, if the Cipro is making you yucky, you might want to try taking it with food. Usually you can take it with or without food, but if it makes you sick, try some food with it.

I got cellulitis from wading in knee deep flood waters once. They gave me cipro as a last resort to keep me out of the hospital. It left a metallic taste in my mouth and really drags you down. My doctor told me that it is the same stuff they give you if you are exposed to anthrax. Yep, it's strong.

I was wondering what that taste in my mouth was....I heard that about the anthrax....
