Candy, I am LOL!! You are too funny!

I remember YEARS ago when My Dad remodled our second floor, we went from a single dormer (Bungelow) to a 3 bedroom, one bath, we used the sponge method of smoothing off the mud. All us girls got pretty darn good at mudding. It's NOT a fun job at all!

Erika, have FUN Today! I am jealous! Wish I was meeting too!

Well, everyone is getting ready to go to Papaw's and Granny's. I'll try and check in when we get back, but I expect it will be late. Have a great Saturday!!!!

And I almost forgot!

SANDRA!!! Get well soon!!!! I hope your recovery is quick and easy! Prayers /\ and Pixie Dust ~*~*~*~*~ heading your way!!!

My dad sands 1 time, then finishes with a damp sponge. Very little dust, relatively speaking. The dust is like flour, and gets everywhere.
They make a drywall lift for that!! They are cool. 1 person can hang drywall on a ceiling with it. place the sheet on the carrier, lay it over, raise the sheet by the spin of a wheel, and shoot screws...easy!!

BTW, Mom (Danzer45) had her rotator cuff surgery today (Friday). Everything went well. She will be back on the board soon.

I knew about the lift but it would of been as much work to bring those things down in the basement, so we did it ourselves. next time I'll pay someone else to do this!
glad to hear your mom is doing good!!!!!! wish her a quick recovery from me please!!!!!!

Denis,
contrats (hehe) on beating Emma!!!!!
Thanks Candy.
By the way, contrats on 300. Oh and don't worry about talking to yourself, it's prefectly acceptable...until you start asking questions AND answering them but don't worry because they have medication for that.

Hi all,

Just got home busy morning. Had a free massage so I went to that at nine and then to Kohl's to get the kids a spring jacket then met the kids and Bruce at Walmart, (FUN is) then off to Home Depot. Bruce is now out fertilizing the lawn. He must be freezing out there!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello..... Anybody here???? :confused3

Me!!!!

DIS meet was fun today! Sat around with them for over 3 hours.

Danzer, hope you have quick recovery from surgery.

Kristin, my kids need spring coats too, but I probably have to buy them in the adult section now.

Dh spent the day wiring the family room. He did borrow a sheet rock lift when he did the bedroom down there. He said it made it soooo much easier.

Glad you enjoyed the dis meet. We kinda have a dis meet before every cruise, but it is really our pre-cruise planning party. We discuss what nights to do what and what excursions who is going to do....stuff like that. Most of us get our ressies linked so we can all eat together. There will be 40 or 50 people from here. My cousin usually hosts a pre-cruise pool party and cookout. I take about 2 gallons of Konk Kooler, and fun is had by all!! We don't get much planning done, but the Konk Kooler is usually gone!!:drinking1

That sounds like fun! Unfortunately I don't know anyone locally going on my cruise.
