Happy Easter Everyone!!!! We are done our hunt too, going for dinner at MIL's today so maybe I'll try to chat later, we got home yesterday and just getting life back to normal, Alec is still on the mend. I am taking Jenna to Disney on Ice (Princess) tomorrow morning, I hope everyone has an amazing day!!

the kids got up sooooooo early this morning for the hunt, I could hear them giggling away at 6:30 and when they were done they came in and showed us what they got LOL we're off to MIL for dinner today so we'll be here until 2 or 3.

Gina so happy you're back!!!!!! how was the drive? was it better? I guess Alec is feeling better then?

That is too funny. Mine got up at 6:45 but we made them "snuggle" us in our bed till seven!!!!!!!!!!

We tried to distract them, I even put 17 deadbolt locks on our door and they still got in to show us everything they got. Only problem is they brought in one thing at a time...sigh. We gave up and got up shortly after 7am. As soon as breakfast was done we put in a movie for them and I had one of them hour long naps in the tub

I am a bad mommy, the Easter Bunny didn't even take the baskets out of the kids closets this year, or buy them anything, not even a chocolate bunny. I do have jelly beans on the counter LOL. My kids didn't even bring it up either, I guess they have outgrown it now. Kinda sad, but cheaper LOL!

Don't hate me, but Sean slept till after 9 this morning! Of course we don't do Easter baskets till afternoon, as morning is dedicated to religious reasons we celebrate Easter.

Easter is too early this year, and too much FLU going around in the area so we are staying HOME today...

We are a happy bunch
My DW has been reading some of the other threads so when she told me about the Magic having some apparant problems, I started looking today. Is this just me or are we the happy cruisers? I have seen thread where one cruiser wanted to slap someone upside the head for wearing their ballcap to dinner, another one where parents brought a portable DVD player to dinner. Don't even go read the thread about engine problems. One moderator gave a complete explanation of what happened and why and still people were making up their own versions of what happened. These people are nasty!

These people are nasty!

Yeah, I read some of that too... so sad that people are out looking for the bad! Personally even if we were on the sea the entire cruise I would be a happy camper... but thats me. My biggest concern at this point is trying to figure out how to get all of Sean's medical stuff on board now that they are not allowing people to check in more than one box of stuff (we have 2 cases of formula plus a cooler full of IV fluids AND all his medical equipment..).

Wish some of these people would take a chill pill and enjoy the adventure! WE are going to have FUN FUN FUN!!!

but if it's for medical purposes I think it's ok to bring more stuff with you? they can't say no!!!!!! are you getting the special needs room? that would be great for all of you I think, I heard it's alot bigger than most rooms...

No, they can't say no, but if we have to bring it on as carry'ons it will be a PAIN to haul that much around with us till our stateroom is open for "business". LOL... might need to bring luggage cart to handle it all (now thats an Idea I just thought of.. hmm!)

Yes, we have one of the handicapped room, all the way back of the ship next to secret deck 7 Had the room next to it on our Wonder Cruise and LOVED it, but it only holds 3 people (they had to give us an extra room when we checked in that time as we had 4, had paid for 4). It turned out one of the families in our conference couldn't make it, and it just "happened" to be the room across the hall! Hey, it worked for us! LOL! Spoiled rotten we were, and needed as Brian had a bad nasty cold that I did not want Sean and I to get.

I am sure our TA will work it all out for us, she is the one who put together the conference cruise last year with 50 families having similar special needs. She is AWESOME at getting things done!

Heidi, is that one box per person or per family? If they give you a hassle, which I can't imagine they would, You can count on us to help you get your stuff on board! We will just have suitcases, no boxes, so we can at least take one! I think you might have to invest in one of those carts we talked about 1000 pages ago!

Some people stress about the dumbest things. I don't think it's RIGHT that someone would wear a ballcap to dinner, but if they did, that's thier business and none of mine! If Mom feels that "Little Johnny" is not going to sit through dinner with out SpongeBob, as long as I can't hear it, WHO CARES! It's better then listening to him whine through dinner because he either can't watch TV OR He's too tired to be of good company. Pick your battles!
I love our little happy campers group! (ooh! maybe we should have named ourselves that!) I am so looking forward to the trip and being able to spend time with you all in REAL life!
I wish a fairy would come and clean my home!! I just keep putting it off! LOL Have a nice evening!

My understanding it is one box per stateroom (there are rules too, like you have to have an envelope attached to the box detailing what is in it, that sort of thing... there is a link someplace on the cruise board). My hope is by october that will all be sorted out. It is a new rule I think from the Coast Guard and homeland security, or something like that. Gots to protect all us cruisers from who knows what! I am honestly ok with it, just trying to figure it out ahead of time.

Yes, I confess, I am OCD about some things! LOL! I imagine our TA will be able to work it out for us by then!

Apparently they will also confiscate any water/wine/beer whatever that are in your suitcases too, at least that is what I last read a few days ago.

Any ideas how many of our HAPPY little group will be doing fish extenders? i have started looking around (giggle!) and have some interesting ideas in store!
