The more the merrier. Jump in and have fun

Oh BTW Judy

Don't worry about catching up. It could take you well past our sailing date to do that:lmao: We go pretty fast so just catch up or jump in wherever.

And when we're asking something specific about the cruise we often do a Cruise Question: on the the top so its not easily missed, cause we've been known to lose posts here:rotfl2:

Pm or email (see link below) me your email address, and I will send you the link to the website so you can see what all is on the list. Then you can tell what all you want to put on the list. Then I will update it and send it to everyone!

Actually, I knew i got it right off:rotfl:

But I was just going back and forth between the computer and the tv checking the race. And I was also waiting for you to say something :rotfl:

Jimmie Johnson won BTW.

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE!!!

My last free night for the next 3 months! Football practice starts tomorrow night and I am not sure I'll have time to log on after work. Connor has an Ortho Appt at 3, then dinner, then practice at 630. Still not sure if there is internet access available at the field....I kind of doubt it...although there are a few houses across the street. This is so going to cut into my Pirate time! LOL

So far I have 15 for the game of Tag!!! I'll need to get stateroom numbers too. I've not looked at the other site yet though.

In the middle of making dinner.......

Good luck to the newbies tonight! I hope there are a few Palo times that were "saved back" for you to get!

Can we specify to link up with the Parrothead Pirates families for dinner? Still playing these newbie to cruising games, so who do ya call and what do ya say?

Renee

I see your questions has already been answered. You'd need to communicate with who you wre wanting to link with and have their agreement and ressie #. There are several who have linked up. Our group of 4 has not...is still a group of 4. :) (DH, DW, DD 8, DS 3) but who knows as we get closer. I imagine more folks will be linking. It also depends on who has early dining, who has late etc. We have early (Yeah) :cheer2:

Here is some information for all of you planning to book tonight.

I just went online to see what was available.

As of right now the following Palo spots are avai. Now at the stroke of midnight I'm sure they'll go, go, go.

But just so you have an idea..

PALO AVAILABILITY

Nita,

Thank you for doing this!!!! This does give us an idea of what to expect. We will hope for the best. There is always the chance that we can book it after we get on the ship.

Thanks again....Randy

I appreciate this, but It's alright. I talk to DD and she wants to stick to our original plan.

We did a Disney Cruise in Sept of 2006. We were placed at a table with another family of 5. It was very obvious that they did not want us there and they were very rude to us, especially to Merkie, the very first night. After that, Merkie refused to go back. We ate at Topsiders every night but the last night and pizza that night. Topsiders was actually great. It was the same group of people every night. There was a couple with a very small baby (maybe two or three months), a elderly couple, a family of four who could not get their children to sit through the long meals and then occasionally another group would wonder in and out. We were able to choose from various items being served in the formal restaurants. Once, the elderly couple asked for something being served at Lumiere's which wasn't listed on our menu, but the server went and got it for them. Topsider's was so much more relaxing. The volume of course was much lower. Everyone chatted together. We were like our own little group. They sat us all at tables by the windows and every night but one, we watched dolphins jump in and out of the ocean as we ate. Our meals lasted thirty to forty minutes as opposed to two hours. The wait staff were more like butlers. There were three every night serving just our little group. They literally stood just a few feet away and when we needed something it was there before we even had a chance to ask for it.

Long story short, I had promised Merkie that we would just plan on doing Topsiders this time. I have already requested a table for just DD and myself for Saturday and Friday since Topsiders won't be open on those days. They said that they would try. I promised Merkie that if they do not give us a table for two, we would just order room service or eat casually. She wants to stick to this plan.

I do appreciate you checking with your tablemates about adding us though.

Sorry to hear about this, we have an awesome group and I am sure if you asked to be linked to our group, you would be lucky to sit with anyone here, we have a very friendly bunch, whatever you are comfortable with though:goodvibes

So.....

is anyone thinking of rebooking while on board. :confused3 That may be jumping the gun a bit since we haven't even left yet. But...when we were eating lunch just now my DH actually seemed open to it!

anyone else considering it?

We are definately rebooking onboard with a dummy date, can't wait!!

Hello Everyone,

I haven't posted in ages due to being under lots of pressure at work....long story. I've been meaning to log on for ages but never go round to it but Allens email today with the updated list gave me the push I needed.

I haven't had time to catch up on all the posts - you guys can really chat :) but I'll try to catch up. Hope everyone is well and looking forward to THE CRUISE!

To be honest the cruise is the only thing keeping me going just now -we've had a pretty tough couple of months -I am so so busy in work and so is Donald -am sure it's the same in the US but we're having a pretty tough time economically in the UK. My department in work is under pressure to perform better than ever and I'm putting in a lot of hours....I've got a picture of the Magic as my wallpaper and it's keeping me sane :)

Welcome back Katie!!!!!

Hello Everyone-

I haven't been on in a long time, so need to catch up. I just learned about the FE, door magnets, etc and have been going thru those threads making my requests. I also have been concentrating on our other cruise on the Wonder on 9/11/08 with just myself and my DH for our anniversary. This all can be rather addictive. So, since I haven't read all the pages yet, are there any plans for a DIS meet or FE exchange on this cruise? :)

Judy

Welcome back Judy!!!!

Wouldn't DCL keep spots open for the 75 day mark, not just what is left over?? :confused3 What do I know though, this is my 1st cruise, just asking?

Big Red,

Did I read you are on the lake this weekend?? Old Hickory lake, I presume? We have been out all day yesterday, then again today and back again tonight to have dinner up at Cherokee.

I wonder if we've passed you? We're almost always pulling one or more of our girls in a tube behind us!

Red and creme Chapparal!

You know, I'm not sure! I've heard conflicting stories. That they add additional spots at the 75 day mark...and that they don't...it is just what is "left over."

Now I do know they hold back a lot for the day of the cruise.

We were on Center Hill at Sligo. We could see the Ragland Bottom Rec Area from the lake house where we were. I have a couple of pics I will post. Have to go get the camera out of the car. Have a good dinner at Cherokee!

They only release a small percentage of ressies to Palo for online check-in. Some for each ressie period. Then you still have the opportunity when you get on the ship, you just have to be quick about it!!!
