October 11-18, 2008 Disney Magic Parrothead Pirates in Paradise Chapter 9!

Wish I could say that it was better than what it was...but we took Chris to the dentist today... Lets just say he wound up telling the dentist "I DONT LIKE YOU!" And we have to go to the hospital on wednesday for his root canal He has lots of cavities...my fault for letting him breastfeed at night once his teeth came in...Didnt know any better But I do now and now the poor little guy will have to go in early wednesday and be put under anesthesia...but at least he wont remember it...and the dentist said that they bounce back like nothing ever happened. He said he would be eating and drinking same day...playing and having fun. Lets hope its true. He said its an easy procedure, nothing major but Im scared...gotta keep telling myself that It wont be anything bad....now if only I can convince myself

I know how difficult that is, I remember when Jacob had his adenoids removed, he was around 3, I was so scared, when he came to he said he wanted McDonalds!!!! He got a popsicle instead, I am sure it will be fine and its our job to worry

Hey everyone. Is this the time of night that everyone usually shows up? I'm just trying to figure this all out. I do have a couple questions: 1. Is there a list somewhere that I can print that will put everyone's real name with their user name here? I don't know everyone and feel a little lost trying to keep up. I'd like to print it to use until I learn who everyone is. 2. Is there a list somewhere that will tell us how many people are in each room and how many of them are adults and children? I need this to start the FE gifts. I think I read somewhere that today was the deadline for signing up for this. I'd like to get a total. I haven't started at all.

Cool for you!!! They will be tired for sure!! I went to the Disney Store today, they had nothing, they did have the tinkey shoes $12.99 instead of the $3.99 on the outlet!!!!

I did have the link I think. Someone PMed me to get the info for the FE gifts. It had a link to a list of families who had joined that. I could be wrong, but I don't think in included the number of people in each family.

Thanks, I guess I should be more worried if I WASN'T worried about the whole thing But its the first time ever of him going under and its just so nerve racking...Ive never even been under anesthesia so I guess Im going based on nerves and nothing else really to go on After seeing him fight from being held down at the dentist, DH brought him to target and bought him 3 large toys and he told him anything that he wanted He didnt like seeing him that upset so he had to buy DS stuff to make himself feel better...I wonder what he is going to buy him when he gets done from the hospital

Ive noticed that most times it starts picking up around 5pm or so but yea evenings are pretty busy on here I cant remember offhand the website that has the lists of the cruisers...but I do know that the latest list that I got, I couldnt find two cruisers...Does anyone know if Paige (lawmom3) and Denine, have any kids traveling with them on the cruise and if so what gender the kids are??? Those are the only two that I am missing the info on. I am putting finishing touches on the FE Gifts and need those two's infos to know WHAT to put in their bags

It will be alright. I posted earlier about my daughter's surgery. She was five years old, but she handled the anestesia well. She has in fact been under anesthesia many times. Her problem was a neurological problem and she had several MRIs prior to the operation and has had several since. She has to have one every January. This year was the first time that they did not put her under for the MRI. They had to because she just could not, or would not, lay still long enough. Every time she moved at all, the technician had to start over. It's scary, but the doctors told me that children usually handle it better than adults do.

Gail you dont know what a huge relief you just took off of me, I wasnt sure how someone so young would handle the anestesia...and you just made me want to jump thru the monitor and hug you Im sorry to hear about your daughter, It must be hard to have to deal with the neurological problems in your daughter and an MRI each January Poor little girl has been thru a whole lot, as have you I am sorry that you have had to deal with it, but you have just encouraged me and made me feel like a weight was lifted off of me Thank you more than you know!!
